What did Dixie to in the 1st half that they didn't do in the 2nd half?

From listening to the radio they sounded like they didn't have the size that would allow them to compete. Paris sounded like a good shooting team but not sure that is enough.

I only say it would be a shame because if these are the top 2 teams in the region it would be exciting to see them meeting in championship game. This has happened in the past that the 1&2 teams where they met in the semis and it ended up being a better game to see than the championship game. Just can't remember which schools. That was my only reason.

I realize we are 3/4 weeks away from Districts starting but I really think CCH and Cooper are the teams to beat in the 9th. It will be a shame if it happens that they both end up on the same side of the brackets.

Wow, that says a lot of for the past teams with post players that beat up the Birds. Walters shuts down players big or small simply with his reach. The only thing that wasn't happening tonight was Finfrock being able to push Walters around. :ohbrother: Added: This is not taking anything away from Finfrock, he uses his size really well and has shown he can score.

The Crazies could almost fill this gym themselves if they all show up. I would think people would want to be there for the Freshman game if they want to make sure they have a seat and not watching on TV. Not a lot of room.

That's funny.. Wonder if CCH ever had this issue because their student section is also large.

Find a team/organization that gives a solid foundation on fundamentals.. This will help move you kid along 10 times faster than just playing.

Something to be said when it look at like student body is bigger than the cch or cooper fans. Impressive.

I show up to see cats play and there is over 30 min left on clock before it starts. When did that change to 8? I thought I read 7:30 somewhere. I thought the short missed shots by the cats and the 3pt shooting of HC is what kept it close in the 1st half. After that they seemed to put a man to close guard HC 5 and I don't think we saw another shot out of him till late in the game. When teams do that why do you keep him in? Seems like HC played with 4 at times when they couldn't get him the ball. Also have to give props to Barns from HC on the block. That was huge!!! Congrats to the Wildcats, out play, out last. Friday should be a good game.

Yes but doesn't NCC have like 350ish students split 50/50 between boys/girls? Doesn't work in all schools.

Can't tell if that is sarcasm or not. If not, that's crap. There is no place for this is HS sports and I blame the officials for not handling it. Yes he is kid, but that crap doesn't work at next level regardless what sport he plays. Just play the game.

That's a tough one to think being he shoots more than anyone on the team with a lower shooting percentage. Two stats not input into KHSAA that I would love to see. Assist and Turn Overs. I've seen the inside score at well "when" they get the ball.

Yes which is why I had to laugh. I watch on this board how many put major expectations on kids all while comparing them to other people who wouldn't be a fair apples to apples comparison. Any student/athlete playing at the next level is a major accomplishment.

Didnt Hall and Pangallo get varsity uniforms prior to the season started their freshman year? Just saying it happens if the coach thinks they are ready. Look where Hall is now.

I understand what you are saying but like someone mentioned before, I'll give the kids the benefit of the doubt. Even more so knowing that kids read was is written on here too.
