  1. Definitely an immature move on Drew's part! It's not so much the tweet that bothers me because we all know what nonsense it is. The part that gets me and has made me shake my head about this kid is his lack of honor and responsibility in his representation of a D-1 program that believes in him. At the end of the day it's not about him, it's about the integrity he represents in his school and football program, period!!!!! When you are comfortable with the school and program being larger than yourself, you don't make these immature moves! Again, I hope this kid learns and grows up and moves on from this type of spotlight!
  2. Congrats to Macey Ford on her commitment to Transy! Great scholar athlete! Well deserved:up:
  3. Totally agree!!!! Like any machine, the body needs recovery and repair. It cannot do that if it's constantly grinding and working without rest!!! Not just a week of rest, but WEEKS!
  4. This is why Stowers comes to mind. A seasoned coach is there to coach, develop players and build a program!
  5. If they can find the likes of a Stowers from SK, it would catapult the program tremendously in areas on and off the court!
  6. He is a man child, always has been. Seeing this kid play years ago I thought he wouldn't grow out of middle school, kids would catch up to him. However, I was flat out wrong...kid was blessed with some good genes!
  7. Who's hand's will be touching the ball alot this season, RB? WR?
  8. Did the turf give the player the infection or did the player give the turf the infection? What came first, the chicken or the egg? According to the CDC, this bacteria can be killed at 140 degrees Fahrenheit. No one would play football on a surface that hot! However, the ideal temperature for growing the bacteria that causes Staph infections is 95 degrees Fahrenheit, hence, players are on the field. Summer practice season is the perfect storm for Staph and MRSA outbreaks at high schools or colleges and I'm sure on the professinal level too! I agree with JohnnyU, spray these fields once a week, and don't ignore the weight/locker room where it is rampant too!!
  9. Let's revisit Ryle in a few months, last few threads died a slow and agonizing death:ohbrother:
  10. No desire to see your hudl account, I just know the family, if he took a few snaps in the beginning, it was just showing the new coach what he may have, but from what I was told, that position was not shared, that's all.
  11. According to Pagliano, there was no split, O'Hara played every game as QB. I'm convinced that noone has facts on these threads anymore!
  12. Good grief, these threads turn you people into crazy know it alls. I don't know whats more comical, the person starting the thread to reel people in or the people who bite the hook! You bring Newton's Third Law to a whole new level!!! 3 months away and you act like the lights will be shining bright tomorrow night!
  13. I agree! But the incoming coach is taking over a 30 year run by Nell and beginniing a new start of the floor named after her predecessor! There is no pressure, but it will take time!
  14. Heard offer was made and accepted yesterday! Big shoes to fill!
  15. 17yrs. old and fewer than 6 credits, how could this honestly ever play out? This child needs an education first and foremost!
