The LADY RAIDER basketball team needs a new head coach :D

Welcome to BGP! I look forward to seeing many posts from you.

Why would a coach leave a team with all those division one players?

Can't really say why because I have no idea, but I do know she resigned yesterday. It's about time this school have a head coach for the girls program that can push them to achieve what they are capable of AND COACH GAMES TO WIN. The senior class at Ryle is stacked with talent, some of which has been completely ignored because of politics and shady agendas. Get it right his time RYLE!!!

Can you give an example of a "shady agenda?"

Anyone that knows anything about Ryle girls bball knows the coaching struggles they have had the last two years. This is not a new revelation, ask around. It has also been explained at length in posts from last season. Let's hope Ryle THIS TIME hits the jackpot and builds a program of INTEGRITY for years to come. Over and out.

Your brilliance BLINDS us all!! Parent, fan, coach, local basketball enthusiast......it matters NOT! Let the search begin.....!!!!! Good for Ryle.

More on this later I'm sure...but let's not loose sight of this simple fact. Ryle was already going to be in the conversation when looking at top teams in the 9th next year..top 5..top 3..in the conversation. THIS is big news. Who steps into this position and how quickly will have an impact on the 9th. The timing is unfortunate as it puts the student athletes at a disadvantage when it comes to June "School Ball" activities. The talent to compete sits in union waiting...

I think that Chris Douthit would be a great fit. He is in the building and has had experience with the Ryles girls program. Good coach!

Hopefully these ladies will get a good coach and fast. Hate to see this happen so close to summer ball. Good luck with getting the coach that can do the job!

Hopefully "Coach" Jackson will hang up her "coaching shoes" and realize that it's not the job for her. She may have been a good high school and college player but she certainly doesn't know how to "coach". Ryle was loaded with talent and she couldn't do anything with it. Hopefully they get a coach that can work with the talent and play to their strengths. They should win the regional this year! Chris Douthitt would be a great coach.

While my exposure to him is limited as compared to many, I would agree.
