  1. Holmes in double bonus both haves..Ryle didn't get to shoot bonus either half. Never been a ref complainer but that's an interesting stat
  2. Congrats to Trimble County! This game defines what basketball is about, why they play the game. Also love that the young ladies end game in Prayer. Best of luck in sweet 16!
  3. What a game! As a Ryle fan I'm so proud of the Lady Raiders for the teamwork and poise under pressure that allowed them to pull off this win. As a fan of HS Girls basketball, highest level of respect for HHS, particular the great careers of 4 outstanding young ladies that will graduate this year. It truly was a game neither team deserved to loose. Lee had a monster game and I thought Coffee kept her team in winning mode all night. Congrats to the lady birds on a great season! Ryle...the ball is in your court. One team stands in the way. GO LADY RAIDERS!
  4. Very nice win for WV. Really looking forward to regional championship game.
  5. Nice come back win by HHS. Cross came out as the aggressor and frankly looked like they would win this one. Credit to Coffey and couple underclassman for keeping Highlands within striking distance. Then came down to poise under pressure in last 4 minutes. Highlands Seniors stepped up..they hit their free throws..HC has some untimely turnover and misses free throws. Congrats to Highlands on the win but can't say I can wish a lot of luck on Saturday Congrats to Deja McClendon on great High School career. She has the ring to show it.
  6. Hats off to a scrappy St Henry team that never gave up. Lady raiders with too much length and talent in this one. Hard to stop Ryle with M Scherr knocking down 5 treys, Lang slashing to basket, Jones and Schwartz around double figures..defensively Ryle must have had over 10 block shots..at least half from Jump..erased any inside scoring threat. Again hats off to Lady Crew..good luck to Lady Raiders Saturday!
  7. In a different thread, there was a reference to the 9th being down this year. Far from accurate imo. There are four teams that could cut down the nets next Sunday without it being a major shocker as Holmes, Ryle, Highlands, Holy Cross are all talented and capable. Add a dangerous 21 win Connor team that is capable of the lights out 3 point shooting upset and I say this will be quite the tournament. Of course I root for the young ladies from Ryle who have very much earned the right to be at the top tier. Now they need to step on the floor and earn the right to cut down nets. They're ready. Go Raiders!
  8. Lady Raiders depth revealed a bit last night (shhhhhhhhhhh) with 25 points from the bench. This is not the same team from early December..and that team was pretty darn good. Go Raiders!
  9. I'd pick WV to win their match up from your list..and give the 9th region teams the nod in all your other listed games with SK Vs Holmes being squeaker.
  10. Conner is a team not to be taken lightly. They are definitely capable of making noise in the tournament.
  11. Nice senior night win for Lady Raiders against a very good NDA team Ryle finishes regular season at 20 & 6 with all 6 losses to "top 20" teams. They have earned the right to be in the discussion on who will represent the 9th region. Now this team..and their strength is indeed team play..understands the talent in the district and region and that they need to go earn it on the floor. Go Raiders!
  12. Tough shooting night for Lady Raiders ..credit to Camels for scrappy D...CCH pushed out to a double digit lead but Lady Raiders fought back in 3rd and took a 1 point lead . Lead then exchanged hands a few times. Lady Camels hit a few big 3s in the fourth and Ryle had to foul ..credit to CHS for hitting their free throws down the stretch and pulling off very nice win.
  13. This will be a great game between two of the best teams in NKY. Go Lady Raiders!
