  1. Yes..all Boone County school activities after 3pm are "on as scheduled"..if a game involving a Boone County school was canceled, it was for different reason
  2. If senior only..Ansley Davenport or Dajah McClendon. If not just seniors, add Ally Johnson. Lot of other names mentioned that are very good and talented contributors but I believe these 3 carry their teams on their back and that separates them. Post season results could certainly impact this if someone steps up to dominate.
  3. You are correct..but the officials were distracted during the stand and dribble quarter..I think one broke out a lawn chair to read the sports page..one ran to skyline and back..one wrote a review on war and peace
  4. Lady Raiders pushed out to a 14 point lead several times but credit to HHS for tough 2nd half ..I believe they cut the lead to 6 in the 4th. This one was a Ryle victory as a result of great team defense and great ball movement on the offensive side. Good luck to the lady Birds the rest of the way..Lady Raiders need to continue the climb!
  5. This should be a great great 9th region match up! If you're a fan of another school but nothing going on Monday, come out to Union. Two teams loaded with senior talent as well as quality bench players..quality coaching. As a Ryle fan, I'd never underestimate HHS. But as a Ryle fan, we like what's happening ...GO LADY RAIDERS!
  6. I truly truly have no dog in this fight. But the above bold is important. I know others have alluded to things happening at other schools at other times. Maybe it did. Hope it didn't. But if it happens on larger scale because some feel they can skirt the words of certain sentences in by-laws and defend the actions..it's just sad. It's sad for kids at the school that might have a chance to develop but that chance is diminished due to focusing on the "transfers". But obviously some transfers are absolutely OK...it's the bolded statement above that's the key difference IMO.
  7. Big win for Lady Camels.! I'd have to think this makes them the team to beat in the 10th.
  8. Final from Union. Lady Raiders move to 15 and 5 on the year to close out January.
  9. Ryle shot only 25% in the December loss to Scott County but 41% in the recent win. Raiders were also out rebounded in the first game but hit the boards hard in this win. New coach has lady raiders focused on strengths and the ball movement, defense, inside and inside out improves week over week. Scott County a solid team that will be dangerous in March, happy to report same is true for Lady Raiders.
  10. Sounds like real barn burner, hats off to both teams. Congrats to Mason on a big win.
  11. Another great 9th region match up. Hats off to both teams for what sounds like a good one. Congrats to Bulldogs on the comeback win.
  12. Clephane really coming on. Nice win for Scott. I think they will be a dangerous team to face come tourney time.
  13. Congrats to WV on the win..seems like things are working well in Walton.
  14. Players don't need to be the leading scorer to have a dominate impact. Anyone that knows hoops knows Amori among best in NKY and a true impact player for her team. DG..we look forward to hearing about what I'm betting will be great collegiate career.
  15. Raiders put all five starters in double figures in a solid team performance. Led by seniors Jones and Jump with 13 each and seniors Schwartz and Lang with 11; 8th grade PG Scherr with 10. Credit to Cooper for being a very scrappy team...Ryle coaching staff really maximizing their talent and putting their players in a position to win. Ryle 67, Cooper 46 Cooper (4-10)–Anderson 4 6 15, Held 4 5 14, Smith 0 1 1, Bleska 1 1 4, Nichols 1 0 2, Rivera 2 0 4, Mitchell 1 3 6. Totals: 13 16 46. Ryle (9-4)–Scherr 4 2 10, Williams 1 0 2, Jones 5 1 13, M. Schwatz 4 2 11, L. Schwartz 3 1 7, Lange 4 2 11, Jump 6 1 13. Totals: 27 9 67.
