This Grant Co. team can flat out play! Make no mistake, this team will be playing well into March. Strong in every position! I believe these 10 seniors will go out with a bang:ylsuper:
Opinions, Opinions:D The beauty here folks is that we have two teams that have peaked at the right time for a knock down drag out fight, isn't this what we wait for all fall? Let's respect the boys that will show out under the Friday night lights for all of us to enjoy while we are sipping hot chocolate and burrying ourselves under layers of quilts. Win or lose, these are some great athletes that are going to battle their way through to survive another week. If Moore and England do their thing, its going to be a great Friday night for all!! Good luck to all the young men on both sides!!
That was a great story on Allen! Ryle will somewhat depend on the younger sophomores that can play. Curious to see how the O'Hara kid comes out after football from getting stronger. Cheesman is a smart player but not sure how big he is. The work horses will be O'Hara and Scherr but Owens and Puthoff will be their leaders. Will they have any size this year?
There is no dominate offensive player this year as in the past. When i think of past OPOY players, Juniet, Frommeyer, Harper, O'Hara come to mind, but knowing some of the players out there up for it it is a toss up. I like O'Brien, he's not deadly but offensively he is a threat.
Not necessarily, it is a great rival though. However, I believe the talent is spread throughout the whole region, I don't see one team dominating overall. As far as district play, I do believe these two teams play it out for the district hardware:up:
Ford, McGarr and Switzer will cause havoc this year. Very seasoned with true knowledge of the game. Ryle lacks what Boone has, true guard play however Boone lacks what Ryle has, size! The 9th region will be fun to watch:popcorn:
Boone has some nice players, and are somewhat young. Can't wait to see what P. Black does in the next few years, she will be fun to watch! Congrats to the Highland girls:up:
