  1. I believe O'Hara and Morgan live in the Boone district.
  2. There's no hype to this Cooper team. They get it done, quietly. No parent entitlement going on there. The focus is on the field! Very humble and hard working!
  3. Can't wait to see what happens to this kid! His dribble drive and quicker than a flash jump shot off the screen is crazy!! And his awareness of his teammates on the court, you cannot teach!!
  4. According to MaxPreps, there are 295 high schools in Kentucky with a girls basketball program! HC YOU ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!! ENJOY YOUR CROWN:clap:
  5. Seriously, you just posted to a group of hard working ladies and parents that won their district/region and heading to state that they are not as good as.....they ARE just as good, they just proved it!! #ADate @DiddleArena
  6. It's that ol saying, hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard, AND, you have to work hard ALL 4 quarters, especially the 4th! You play to win it, you don't sit back on your heels at this point in the game, you bring it home in the 4th quarter!
  7. If you are good enough to play DI but the offer on the field is not a full ride, academics help pick up the rest, thats all. If you have two equal DI recruits a school is after, one with a ACT of say 26 or better as opposed to one having a 19 or so, who is more attractive and where can the program save $$ on another recruit...I'm just saying you have more to ride on and may jump ahead of others on the recruit list.
  8. Along with being athetically gifted in sports, has anyone thought about putting energy into what academics can do to earn this DI scholarship on the field? A 30 plus ACT score opens doors for these athletes to play wherever they can choose if they are seriously getting recruited, they don't have to depend so much on the athletic side of the $$, with premier grades, they may be a shoe in wherever they choose if they are that good!!
  9. Regardless on how it's interpreted, if you are on the winning side of things, the glasses are more foggy, "not my kid." Pure and simple, after a hard fought battle, no one likes to lose:isurrender:
  10. Let's be clear, if you read my earlier post, I 100% agree with you about the officiating! It truly is up to them on how far aggression vs. dirty play goes!!! They hold the whistle and the T's in their hands, it's THEIR job:thumb:
  11. What you have here is 4 starters for Boone that have played together since elementary days. They will indeed find a way to win. The caliber of speed and experience together gives Boone the advantage!! Boone by 10
  12. When you're going into battle you want a player like Bosse on your team!! There's players (boys included) all over 9th region that follow suit! It's tournament time, bring the gloves or you're going home! Bosse is a great kid, a great competitor and if she brings an edge to the game so be it, let the refs decide!!!! Her and her team just celebrated a district championship, they are doing something right!!
  13. Amen! This isn't recreation ball! All these girls are fighting to get to the big dance, call it aggression, call it dirty, it will only go as far as the ref allows it!! At the end of the day, there will be two very aggressive, talented teams fighting for the 8th region to make the trip to Diddle:popcorn:
  14. I'll take Camels by 10. Playing too strong at the right time!
  15. Snapp is a nice player, but most of all he's dangerous, thats why he should be in the top 10!
  16. Kenton County must have some very good "grant writers $$$ "
  17. I think what you MEANT to say New Bluebird was "BG is A 4 time wonder" :thumb:
  18. The rule is the rule is the rule, I'm sure there are no grey areas in it!! Standards run high at X, this speaks volumns to what the school is all about and what it's not about. Hoping this young man takes note of the valuable lesson here!!
