  1. Wright kid is a beast. Got to see him last year, he wasn't hard to spot!!
  2. Agree, if not, the speed of LC's wr's will implode Cooper.
  3. Hearing talk in Union, biggest difference is there is a 3-4 nasty headed running game monster on Ryle's team that people are having a hard time stopping. The Chisholm kid (remember his name) could be their best true rb this year, and I believe he is just a sophomore! Add to that some great receivers and athletes on both sides! For them to go far into the playoffs, it takes a team, not a few good players here and there, a full team, including the guys on the sideline. This is what Ryle has not had in years!!
  4. If Highlands can stop Dillion Powell, they will only lose by 2td's! If not, could be ugly!
  5. One area SK cannot match up to in this game is the kicking game, Highlands kid is a stud! May be mvp of this team, at least he's the most impressive so far!
  6. I'm not sure that is a correct statement. There are a few lineman down south sitting on "offers" but was not told of a "full ride" yet....offers mean interest until you are at the table signing a LOI...here's to all the kids in the state that have "offers":ylsuper:
  7. I don't know if it's different. My question was what is an offer, offer to play or offer to pay to play or offer to be water boy. What is the verbage in the offer!
  8. All of this and UK never reached out to Mr. Alexander until his last few months in high school, which was already too late! Also, keep in mind, Boone had him as back up rb his sophomore year until the starter got hurt, hmm....the rest is history! Love those stories!!
  9. I heard the same thing, rings true tho, not where you start, its where you finish:popcorn:
  10. That's it? Sean Clifford, a junior at St. X in Cincy was offered a full ride earlier this year to Penn State, to me THAT is an offer!! It's a business I guess....
  11. I'm with you Clutch, talked to several people there and it sounded as if it wasn't a total blowout, misreads and drops. Sounds as if Cooper beat themselves somewhat and not having their go to kid, tca, was a struggle.
  12. What are these offers? "We would love to see you play here!" ?? Or "you would be a good fit!" ?? What is an actual offer per se at this stage in the game? Is "full ride" mentioned? From what I read, UC has "offered" half dozen qb's in the class of 2017, how can $ be mentioned this early in the game with so many non-commits?
  13. I respectively disagree on your example, Ryle gets the W if the defense shows up and shows out!
  14. Camels won't be able to stop Armstrong! Jags win big on this one!
  15. I think home advantage may play a part in this one! However, in the past, Ryle has keyed in on one or two players to be game changers. This team worries others coaches because these one or two players in the past have now become a variety of players. There isn't just one key running back this year, there are multiple, and getting the job done from what I see and hear. There are multiple players in most positions at Ryle this year and it doesn't drop off! And to say 3-0 is an unproven team is ludicrous! Regardless, it should be a very good game! When is the last time these teams have played and what was the score?
  16. Happens everyday, until you are sitting at the table signing your LOI, it's wide open! It's a business, colleges know when to pull the plug per se.
  17. Love to hear great things about great kids! Much more ahead for this player in the next few years! Great job Ms. Niece!
  18. What are the #'s for SK's qb so far? And is he talking any coaches on the next level?
  19. Powell will have his way with this team and most teams, most impressive rb in the area along with Cordell-Armstrong from Cooper!
  20. It's that ol' sayin, it's not where you start, it's where you finish:popcorn:
