So Apollo coach, how has your August been?

The months to come won't be any better........

Expectations have clearly changed in Owensboro.

Apollo went from the clear Region favorite to, will they make the region tourney.

I am curious, is Trace a legit 2017 grad? Age that is?

If I remember correctly, Trace is 17. Turns 18 in the winter months.

@NEXTUpRecruits: NEW ARTICLE: 2017 W Trace Young (@TraceYoung1) set to transfer to Huntington Prep Trace Young set to transfer to Huntington Prep

Just read the article and it seems like the young man knows what he's doing. It would have been nice if either he, a school official, or the article's author could have supplied at least one quote about academics but, as the kids say, it is what it is.

Oh, so he will close to 20 as a freshman in college.

Not uncommon anymore. There are a couple 2017 kids who turn 18 next month.

I don't understand what the problem is, rules state if you turn 19 after August 1st of your senior year you are eligible.

In my opinion anyone graduating high school at 17 or 18 when they have another year they could have been eligible are the ones that should be looked at as in why are you graduating early not the 19 year olds graduating late.
