I don't understand what the problem is, rules state if you turn 19 after August 1st of your senior year you are eligible.

In my opinion anyone graduating high school at 17 or 18 when they have another year they could have been eligible are the ones that should be looked at as in why are you graduating early not the 19 year olds graduating late.

Gives daddies whose kids aren't on the same level something to justify the gap. Just my opinion.

Older kids for their grade have a distinctive advantage in middle school years....not so much in high school. The most important thing is who continues to improve as they get older and who tops off.

Not uncommon anymore. There are a couple 2017 kids who turn 18 next month.

That's crazy, most true 2017 kids are 16 now.....

Just glanced at the pure prospect or whatever it is ranking for 2017. The top 15 I would say it is half and half on graduating at age 19 and age 18. I know most of those kids. I know 8 of the top 15 for sure are going to be 19 when graduate, I know 4 will be 18 and the other three I am not sure on them.

Young & Sebree are two examples of kids who will be 19 when graduating high school.

Sloan and VonHandorf are two who will be 18 when graduating.

All considered towards the top in those classes, the old argument, what would Young and Sebree be if they were in the 2016 class or what would Sloan and Vonhandorf be in they were in the 2018 class?
