I'll be honest, I don't believe in any religion, could care less about it, but as a teenager I always felt awkward when we did the Lords Prayer. Schools should offer freedom from religion, like a previous poster said what If a coach was muslim and he quoted some passage from the Quran before pregame? Would everybody be fine with that? What if the coach was a Mormon?

There are two "schools" of RB's in KY, ones that have your D1 speed/big college potential, and your great high school RB's. Example Rees Macshara, Any RB in Belfry's backfield through the years, Dominique Hayden. Great HS RBs and top 5 RBs, but there are also Top RBs who may have lesser stats but better college potential.

Congrats to Matt, Samford has a very good Lexington Pipeline going on(Christian Cunningham, CM Newtons son(AD) and grandson are also involved with the program. I think this thread goes to show the current state of HS basketball, the only mention of him playing for his school team was in the first post...10 or so years kids will opt out of HS to play club...

Refs are the main reason a lot of the smaller sports don't make money at the gate. Refs aren't free.

From what I gathered on a football thread, it might be helpful for Harrison Co. to look outside their county for coaching candidates?

Dow is an exceptional player, Renner is a great coach, but it is Ballard basketball...Renner will just The transfer of Dow(pending) ultimately doesn't kill his team or program in the long run.

Kendall doesn't know the talent he posses, I'd look to go elsewhere too

Other way around I believe, played his first 3 years at Bell Co, and his Senior year at Middlesboro.

I think there was a player from last years UPike team that had a try out, troubled past played at Tennesee for a years, name escapes me. Didin't the AD at UPike also resign not to long ago?

I think UK had a video like this on during the Super Bowl, I enjoyed it, different strokes for different folks I guess. Bourbon is an up and coming program, Hodge has done wonders, look where they were a decade ago and now they are probably considered one of the elite in 3A, seems like they played Belfry alot better than the year before, maybe the video was worth it HAHA!

Be interesting to see how Scott Co. does this week, crushing blow for them this past week.

I've always loved this class of 4A football, the games of the top 4 teams are always fun!
