Rider made a big difference when he was in a game.

The Paducah Tilghman team from 2003. They lost in the state semis to Boyle County 35-21. Tilghman finished the season with a record of 13-1 while averaging 42pts per game and allowing only 11. This team had Hunter Cantwell, who ended up at Louisville and spent a few years on a practice squad in the NFL, and is now the head coach of LCA. Joe Casey was an All American before he decided to leave school right after the loss to Boyle.

Next up for Tilghman is Warren Central.

The Mayfield, Henderson and Hopkinsville stretch will be tough.

Tilghman looks like they are playing some of their best ball right now. Let's hope it continues.

PT's season schedule should help them in this game. They are banged up a bit but they've played much tougher games than Casey.

My aunt graduated from Tilghman in '78 and said that as many as 11,000 would attend the Mayfield game at McRight. I know when I was going to PT it was always standing room only, but never got an actual count. The stadium is listed as seating 8,500. The fire chief must've been a Tilghman fan. LOL

Brutal start for the Eagles.

Paducah Tilghman and Mayfield in football would have to be a top 3. The game made the National High School Game of the Week back in 1989 on SportsChannel America.

If Tilghman takes this game seriously and comes to play, I believe they’ll win. If not, Glasgow will have some fun.
