Marshall County's Matthew Langhi commits to Bellarmine.

This just smells bad. Getting the basketball team organized and ready will be right when he needs to focus on getting the football team playoff ready. Not a good situation for either squad. I'm not saying Coach Thompson can't do it, but the basketball program has struggled for far too long to do something like this.

From what I remember, coach Cox left Tilghman because the new principal told him he had to start teaching. Coach didn't teach at all and put his energy into the program, which lead to PT getting on national television with the Mayfield game, and getting games scheduled with teams nationally ranked. He worked hard to get those things done. He told the principal that the program cannot maintain the current success if he started teaching. It was either teach or get fired. Coach was too proud to get fired so he resigned. @TilghmanPrideIf you have anything to add or correct let us know. Thanks.

Not sure what to think about this schedule. Outside of Mayfield, there's no heavyweight.

I just read an article from a Florida newspaper talking about Florida State is now his number one choice and it goes on to say he has visits at several schools this summer. The article is dated April 4, 2026. Cam Wade visit to Florida State.

Tilghman is playing much better as of late. Maybe they can make things interesting.

I believe Tilghman is the only school in Kentucky with 800+ wins in football and 2,000+ wins in basketball.

Hopefully with all of the new tech businesses coming to town it'll bring in some talent. Might not be a good idea to move up to 6A. LOL

I hope Tilghman can get things figured out soon.

Tilghman’s defense is awesome right now. The offense kinda concerns me at times.

Wouldn't it be nice to have Tilghman, Mayfield, and Murray playing in the Title games? It might be a wild chance but it could happen.

Mayfield is around 21 miles and Murray around 40ish from Paducah. Mayfield is between Paducah and Murray.

I wonder if one of them is the big guy in the middle? If so, PT could be a surprise. From what I read he was a beast. Too bad he has only one year of eligibility.

Paducah Tilghman and Lou. Central both have won state titles with a 4-6 record. When most people from outside Kentucky see that, they always say neither one should've made the playoffs. In 2009 PT just got hot in the end. This may not be the best example but it does show that you can still win a state title with a losing regular season record. You never know.

Hopefully coach Sean Thompson has fixed some of the mid-season issues PT had with penalties and sloppy play. Now is the time to put up or shut up.

I was looking at Tilghman's roster on the KHSAA's website today (10/21/25) and Woodfork is still listed on their roster as a Senior. There are several names listed that were not on there last season so I'm guessing that the list is not from last year. Hopefully he has not transferred.

If Tilghman keeps riding the penalty train, they'll get derailed pretty quick in the playoffs, maybe as soon as round 3. Even though they have the talent, you have to remember that a lot of their guys are first year starters, so maybe we can cut some slack??? Not sure.

PT had 564 total offensive yards. Crazy.

I have to admit that I'm surprised at 55 for PT. That's a lot for a rivalry game. They had 500+ offensive yards. 237 yards and 5 td's for Cam Wade. Awesome stats for one guy.

I would just like to see them cut down the nets just once. C'mon, you know it would be awesome.
