I am a sucker for teams that never seem to have a good season, like Fulton City. I looked at their roster from last year and noticed they had a couple of 7th and 8th graders on their team. The 8th graders got a lot of playing time from what I hear. I would like to see these guys stay together and do something good for a couple of seasons. Can I get an Amen on that?

Tilghman's basketball hasn't been much to talk about for a long time. So sad for me to say that. Seems like the talent pool hasn't been there except for a few players. Their lack of height and size has been a problem. Hopefully this won't have a negative affect on Miles Woodfork.

I know Tilghman won't get any points, but what about Henry County in TN, Brentwood in Nashville, etc. etc. There's a few strong teams in Southern Illinois they could play. I don't think I would settle for a soft schedule. It doesn't really do you any good in the end.

I know Fulton City isn't playing the best teams, but having a freshman scoring 16ppg is pretty good. It's a shame he probably won't get recognized by too many people. If memory serves me, didn't Fulton County have someone a few years ago average around 25ppg and we never heard a thing about him?

I agree. I've heard from several quarterback interviews that both the QB and receivers must be in sync for things to work, regardless of how well each player did at a previous school. It seems that that is not happening at UK for some reason. And the front line on both sides keeps breaking down although they keep having a steady return of experience. Not sure what the problems are.

I don't know about legally exploring the possibility of merging, but I read a couple of years ago on the football forum that Fulton City didn't like the idea because they believed the majority of athletes would come from the County and not be a fair representation of a merger. Although I'm a Tilghman fan, I have always wanted to see both of these school do really well.

The score was tied at the half but Murray turned it on the second half.

I've been a UK football fan my whole life. These last few seasons are making it very difficult to have any hope things will improve. It seems Stoops relies too much on transfers and doesn't want to develop anybody.

This would be a good job for any coach. Would they rather hire a seasoned veteran or someone looking to step up?

I believe Tilghman wants this one in a bad way. Hopefully they'll play like it.

I'm not gonna lie. I'm a bit nervous. But confident.

I think Tilghman is hungry enough to win this game. Hopefully they aren't too arrogant to believe this will be easy.

I don’t think they’ll have it easy with Corbin. With that said, I saw an interview with the coach and Jack James talking about how they have some unfinished business to take care of and that is their focus. That leads me to believe that they are serious about bringing it home.

I had to work so I caught the tail-end of the game on the radio. From what they were saying the game was very sloppy on Tilghman's side of things and that Jack threw 3 interceptions. None of that was even said on Gridiron Glory. Pretty sad that people are lead to believe it was a great game and everything was as usual. Now is not the time to be making mistakes and being sloppy. It irritates me when we have so much talent yet can't follow through with a state title. I just had to get that out of my system. LOL

I kinda wanna see PT move to third or even fourth just to upset them enough to want to prove they are better than that. Maybe play a top 6 team early so they can "wake up" and know what it will take to get to Lexington. Not to say that they are sleeping right now, but they really haven't been tested since September.
