Well this season finished a lot earlier than most on our poll back from December last year for the 2024 season but here we are the Cats season ended today at 4-8. They really only had 1 quality win of their 4 and that was their road win at Ole Miss all the way back in September. They did play Georgia to a 1 point loss at home. The Cats other 3 wins were against (1-11) Southern Miss, (9-3) Ohio, and (1-11) Murray State.

The 2025 non-conference games other than the annual Louisville game on Nov. 29th they have 2 more teams from the MAC in Toledo and Eastern Michigan. Toledo was 7-5 in 2024 and Eastern Michigan was 5-7. There other non-conference game is against (FCS) Tennessee Tech from the Big South-OVC Association.

The conference games at home next season will be Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas. The road games will be at Auburn, Georgia, Vandy, South Carolina, and Louisville.

I really don't feel very good going into next season Stoops contract pretty much prevents him being fired due to the amount of the buyout. So I hope I am wrong, but I feel again it will be a battle just to get to 6-6 probably more like 5-7 I believe. Hey just to get to 6-6 that means 3 SEC wins and we were 1-7 this year. Ehat does everyone else think about the Cats in 2025. Go Cats!

Hard to say now because you don't know what will happen with transfers et al, but if everything were to remain status quo, that schedule screams 3-9, maybe 4-8 if Vandy can't repeat this season.

Stoops record after 12 seasons. All 10 wins in 2021 were vacated. That is 67-73 if you still include the 2021 wins it is 77-73.

I voted 4-8 way too quickly. It's going to be 3 or less.

I frankly as of this moment only see 1 win on the schedule. 

5-7 is the ceiling.

I was fooled.  At first I was like great job on playing all the cupcake games to start, then U of L, and then all the SEC games.  Then I looked at it closer and I was like oohhhh...
