Would probably need a quarterback to utilize a good wide receiver’s talents, the coach hasn’t completed a pass in years.

Barion Brown was reportedly offered $800,000 to stay at Kentucky and he still entered the transfer portal. That tells me that something is up within the program that no one knows about just yet.

Stoops needs to go quickly, and very quickly because things are falling apart.

If we listen to rumors everyone it seems has been offered that $800K.

Kentucky had too many "Show Dogs" and not enough "Hunting Dawgs" on this team. Too many guys were more worried about their "drip" than executing a block for a teammate, making a form tackle or running precise routes. This team seemed early on to act like they had already accomplished something, not like a team looking to accomplish something. 

UK is definitely losing some talent, but maybe they can replace that talent with better attitudes.

I've been a UK football fan my whole life. These last few seasons are making it very difficult to have any hope things will improve. It seems Stoops relies too much on transfers and doesn't want to develop anybody.

Biggest issue developing players now is that if they have a good player in front of them, they'll just transfer for immediate playing time elsewhere.  In a perfect world you could recruit guys, and count on them at all for two years as upperclassmen are your starters. Now if a kid isn't a projected starter as a sophomore they hit the portal. Hard to develop players when players don't want to put the time in to be developed.

I agree. I've heard from several quarterback interviews that both the QB and receivers must be in sync for things to work, regardless of how well each player did at a previous school. It seems that that is not happening at UK for some reason. And the front line on both sides keeps breaking down although they keep having a steady return of experience. Not sure what the problems are.

Very few of the transfers from big schools to UK have panned out. Instead of taking big school backups in the portal, I think UK would be better served taking actual starters from G5 schools.
