I am afraid that Stoops and Barnhart are in a standoff.  This is a total guess, but I think that Stoops and Barnhart can come to an agreement on what it looks like for Stoops to walk away as a Savior to UK fans...So Barnhart is willing to watch the program fall under Stoops watch and challenge Stoops ego on how he wants to be remembered. 

Success and a huge contract have gone to Stoops head and I am afraid UK will get a lot worse before they get better!

The Cats have two transfer commitments this week. They are QB Zach Calzada he has played at A&M, Auburn, and the past two seasons at Incarnate Word. They also signed WR and former 4 star recruit JJ Hester from Oklahoma to help fill the voids left by Brown and Key. I for one hope this transfer QB has more success than our previous two did.

When the news of Mike Norvell restructuring his salary was announced yesterday, Kentucky fans immediately suggested a similar move for Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops. Some even went so far as to suggest that it would help improve his reputation and win back some of the support he lost. Today, a college football expert on the Fansided networklisted Stoops as one of five coaches who should consider doing a similar thing to Norvell.

The mention of Stoops continues to heap coal on the fact that Kentucky is in a very backward deal with Stoops. It's very coach-friendly, and he could tank for another season without worrying about his future. The buyout for Kentucky is simply too high at $44 million and will only decrease by a few million at the end of next year

Alabama WR Kendrick Law is transferred to UK supposedly.

Dixie grad Evan Wibberly is coming to UK. He played center at WKU.

Pretty impressed with UK has done 4 new OL, 2 pass rushers, DT,CB, LB, QB and 2 WRs.

The pieces just keep coming together, we still need more.

Former UK offensive coordinator Liam Coen is the new Head Coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hopefully one of these days Mark Stoops will be more hands off with the offense, and let his OC call the offense that the OC wants to call. As it always seem like Stoops kind of handcuffs his OC IMO and limits what they may want to do.
