Didn’t mean to infer you were neglecting Cash at all. Agree 100% that it was a great offensive effort with a big time defensive play trying to dislodge the completion. Classic.

Haven’t heard much said about the CovCath defender that tried to dislodge the winning throw to Lorenzon. I believe it was Cash Harney, Mr. Everywhere for CovCath. The young man impresses me every time I watch the Colonels.

Just got to love and respect the Crusaders’ story in this 1st year program. Hints of a future formidable District opponent for the Tigers. Love to see the Beechies offense challenged and the ground game get tested. Go Tigers.

Just seems like the exchange of heart breaks seems appropriate, but not equal.

Hard to knock the play calling on the Birds’ last drive. It was a thing of beauty. The Offense was composed and managed that drive and clock impressively.

My favorite 2 hours of the week is spent between BGP and Scoreboard. After a quick review of Friday night game results I will go directly to BGP and read game summaries, Saturday morning QB observations, ref bashing, and even lots of objective congrats to both teams. At 79 I can’t attend many games, but I greatly appreciate live-streaming, the videos that get posted, and the comments that come from a diverse group of BGP members. A wise friend once shared, “The older we get the better we use to be.” Too true to be original.

On livestream we had a bad angle and very distant view and my first impression was WOW, what a hit. Now seeing this video I think it was a great defensive play. Great reception, feet in bounds, defender makes immediate textbook shoulder contact to upper pads knocking receiver OOB. Helmet does bounce upward to glancingly contact face ask, but not close to point of initial contact. 15 yard penalty made huge difference with little time left.

I missed the failed 2pt conversion. Got a Wayfarer commercial break. Ugh!

Just flipped on Tigers’s broadcast 48-0 to start 2nd half. No details here.
