At one time I recall 5 team districts were sending their surplus (voluntary) to short districts. Like BW and Mayfield’s both have 6 teams in their districts so two are staying home with no where to go.

Am I missing something? Does it actually cost a student $10 for a ticket in advance and $15 on game day?

Can you break that down for me. Confusing for old man. Guessing BW isn’t moving up in RPI much and Belfry the same so OC, Mayfield, and LCA will be 1,2, and 3.

Minimal impact as SC sees that regularly, remember they rushed for over 400 yards. The game changed when the Birds decided to give Lorenzen the ball and pound it. Once Highlands got ahead SC started throwing and the So. QB went 1 for 9. Game over. Congrats to the Birds for a really nice win.

Agree with your observations. Glicod announcers talked all night about defenders on both sides blatantly grabbing receivers with the skimpy crew throwing no flags. Offensive lineman caught the pass from scrambling BE QB and ran it to the 29 and as EastSide noted marked the illegal receiver penalty from the point the ball advanced instead of previous spot. Made it 2nd and 6 on the 24 instead of 2nd and 15 on the 15. This crew had a rough night.

Just watched the play in question and my tv would not allow me to freeze frame it and have a valid conclusion. I did note it was the back judge that made the call, the line judge was closer and made no apparent call. Maybe he swallowed his whistle, deferred to the back judges call, or agreed with the call but failed to signal TD. Probably his inaction generated a lot of the doubt.
