The 2A #1 Beechwood Tigers host 6A Campbell County in the last regular season game.

Please note: This game will be played Thursday night and kickoff is at 7:00 pm.

Campbell County picked up win #3 last week over Great Crossing, improving their record to 3-6. In that game Trevor Bertram rushed for 225 yards, almost equaling his season long rushing total. On defense Elijah Depperschmidt registered 16 tackles last week and is averaging 14 tackles a game.

Beechwood features the highest scoring offense in the state (52.4 points per game) and the Tigers defense has allowed the fewest points of any team in 2A (8.1 points per game). That gives the Tigers a scoring margin of 44.3 points per game, which also is #1 in the state.

What should we be looking for in this game?

Another RC by 3rd qtr.  Do the Tigers know how to play in the 2nd half?  Has it been all the way back to CovCath game since they’ve really seen intense late game competition?

Tigers need to get a big lead quickly and get out of this game injury free. The time to ramp up starts this week because playoffs are around the corner and Beechwood has title aspirations. Good luck to the Camels!

Bump.

Looks like the Tigers are rocking the black unis tonight.

Yuck!!

I was all ready for red and purple in this game and all we have is black and white, lol.

Pabst.  14-yd td run.

That was quick, Beechwood went right down the field.

Tigers give up a long run, then clamp down.  Camels punt.  BW ball at the 1yd.

The video for Beechwood needs to be zoomed in a little.  There is a bunch of wasted green space in the frame.

Camels rushing three.  Dropping everyone into coverage. BW punts.  Might be the first time since the Cov Cath game.

Wow.  26 from BW just blow up the RB that picked up the blitz and got to the QB for a sack.
