Think your use "athleticism" is a little off because I remember reading that last year he led his AAU team in running the floor, free throws and three pointers. Then watching this past season we saw him continue to run the floor a head of many big guys that couldn't keep up with him. Said it in another thread and stand by it now, there is not another 4/5 in the state that could physically go 1on1 with him. I think you are confusing athleticism with a player being flashy. I wish the kid the best of luck...

Having watched Drew play a few times I don't think its fair to put a recruiting ceiling on him. Sounded like he just had a solid weekend and there are 3/4 (?) more weekends in their league to be played. Lets let him play and see where how his season goes before we limit his potential success.

To keep this in NKy for a sec I was wondering what schools NCC & Brossart pull from. Do they have good feeder programs to pull from? If so which schools?

Did anyone see the map of the number of schools who use Nike vs other companies (Adidas, UA..) Nike had I bet 90% of them colleges I believe. I think the EYBL is huge exposure for them on every level and I would bet major of the pros wear Nike driving their shoe sales up. Just my thoughts

I would think it would only be possible at sites that have a listed max such as Florence Freedom possible. I've been to regional finals when they were at St. Henry where people surrounded the entire field. While they have a great seating area behind the plate, anything past that is either standing or possible sitting in some removable bleachers.

I believe this game constitutes being called "A Titanic Struggle"... What a game to watch.

Well if this was last year I hope at least we see some state titles to start showing in this part of the state.. Just crazy IMO.

I would agree that it seems that more and more teams, rather it be baseball or basketball, are using twitter to send their updates out. Seems like that is about the only way to truly know what is going on.

Totally agree and I've seen it happen 1st hand between two kids. When the parents become a liability coaches will pick someone else.

Having now watched most of the bigs in the state this season I'm wondering who do you think is better all around? His strength and mobility as a post I think moves him to the top, or near top.

I find this rather funny.. Did the runner slide through the bag?? Your argument is only about the umpire and your feelings about him personally, sounds like you may be an umpire also. If not, I hear that HS baseball is always in need of umpires. Unless you have strapped it on and either walked on a field or court and had to stand there and listen to fans yell at you not stop for 2 hours, I think the guys in blue would rather you just say "Thank You for all the hard work you put in for little pay" Another thing to think about. Next time you have the feeling to yell at either the grown man calling strikes in a HS game, or a 10 year old calling strikes in a knothole game, please let them know where you work and your cell number so they can call you and tell you how bad you are at your job for 2 hours a day so you can see how it feels. Sorry, now I feel better.
