There is talk that they (Holmes) is wanting to purchase the field from the City so that they can maintain it themselves since they pretty much already do that. Not sure how that would work since HC also plays there or who would front the expense.

OK did a little reading and dropped an email to someone. It appears that the Tri-State Warriors has been around a little longer than Kentucky Warriors. Dwayne Beal/Brian Johnson/Marcus Harris appear to be all in the lead roles in the program. Have never really heard of this program before but did find out they have Lashaunn Townsend from Lloyd, several Dixie & CCH players and the rest are a mix from different schools making up the two 9th grade teams. Amazing what you get from a little digging..

I didn't think you did the 3 inning mercy rule during post season. Has that changed?

Win or lose you look have to look at this season as a major success for the Ludow Panthers. Coach Gray has done a great job in giving those boys the motivation to work hard knowing that good things will and can happen..

I'll add one thing to what you mentioned above. While he does a very good job at attracting good players, he does a better job at taking what he does have and making them into better players. We all know kids in Boone County does have multiple options for high schools but with districts in place it is pretty much decided on where kids are going.. Its more impressive that is he taking what he gets as a freshman and then developing them into the players he is wanting/needing when they are seniors. Well done Coach Huff..

Yes SK won 13-3. Ryle was supposed to play behind it but did not. I keep getting conflicting reports from people what is going on. I expect a game at Ryle today for sure to complete that game. Anyone help?

If in a typical game of 2 hours you may be correct but you are not counting the time before and after, as well as the expense of equipment. I heard one game this year went 5 hours!! Which is better? to coach or to officiate?? That is the question...

Most people would be surprised if they knew that HS coaches in any sport make so little. The amount of time these individuals put in the gym and then the amount of time spent outside of the gym they are making pennies on the hour. I didn't add the fact that they have to put up with crying parents why little Johnny isn't playing all while possible not having a school administration backing that coach. You have to do it for the love of the game and the kids. Why else would anyone want to coach or even to that officiate. Thats a whole other topic.

Watched freshman Lashaun Townsend play several times this year and was fun to watch. Can't wait to watch him again this next season.

The CoC only works if it is enforced. We all as parents know we have signed them before but we see other parents get out of line and nothing comes of it. I believe I heard in the state of ohio if a coach is ejected he must watch a "Anger Management" video before he can be reinstated. Can anyone confirm this?

My bad, I thought you said you were part of the ejection a couple weeks ago and that you only said 1 thing. Must not have read it all the way.
