He pitched in the regionals and districts last year as a a Freshman. A few weeks ago he pitched in the All "A" State tournament. Why would he not be composed?

Don't know specifics. But if it was the bottom of 3rd, neither pitcher can go tomorrow (assuming both starters were still in game). Can you give some details of the game? Home team? Starters? When was game postponed?

Sorry, I did not mean to come across as a smart donkey/posterior. I do feel he has been in enough pressure situations to handle himself. Also, being asked to take his first varsity snap as a Freshman QB in a state playoff game and toss something like 5 TD passes spoke volumes about the young man.
