Anything on this. I had heard NCC JV won their side. Was told only real competition was Elder which only played Friday. Anyone get out and see any of the games? JV or Varsity?

The only thing I'm thinking if he is 19 like I heard he should be out of HS and should be playing in college somewhere. If they let him go through HS as a freshman and he is 19, that means he would be 23 when he is a Senior. As far as AAU, you are permitted only so many age exceptions on your team and I'm pretty sure if I said I had a 19 year old on my 15u team that would be a problem.

Looking on this site (Oumar Keita | NBADraft.net) it even says birthday unknown. I hope not but I know when they don't have an actual birth certificate its hard to say how truly old he is.

The game was more of forced shots. How many times can you bring the ball up the floor and drive it to the hole and get denied. Nick R played his role as I expected. He dished the ball around to the open man and took very few shots. Nice underhand layup, couple free throws and a three from the corner. There was no doubt he was out sized here keeping him out of the lane. Played nice..

I can see some 9th region coaches taking notes... Wonder how many are going to try that next year... :ylsuper:

What happens to the players from last year? Now they can obviously continue to play there but if they came there for him what do they do?

Why doesn't the boys tournament mimic the girls tournament or the other way around. Doesn't make sense that you have a state tournament where it is 2 and out. This may be me just not understanding girl sports the same way. Was it this way when the KHSAA had slow pitch and then it just continued when they went to fast pitch? I think if the KHSAA gives the answer "just because it has always been that way" isn't the right answer. LB interested in your thoughts??

The only thing I say it doesn't prove is if she knocked the fence over prior to jumping.. With her bottom foot through the fence it makes me think she stepped through the fence and jumped. Just another idea. No doubt about it, still and awesome catch and an awesome picture.

Yes footstomp 9th region is weak. That is why our 9th region kids continue to come south and do very very well. CCH with a State Tournament, NCC with an All-A State Tournament over a very good Cordia team that had players from all over the country. While Ruthsatz did end up going D2 which I agree is awesome, if he was as tall as the All-Star game had him there was no doubt he would have ended up D1 somewhere. Clyde mentioned some very good players above that are all either going D1 or have offers on the table. And as someone mentioned there are already a few boys from the 2016/2017 class that are being talked about. Before someone takes this as me knocking another player from around the state, I am not. I believe we are all very fortunate in the state of KY to have many many student athletes (boys/girls) that do very well when moving on to college.

Did not hear that... Whatever school he goes to will get a very good baseball and basketball player.. That doesn't happen that often.. Best of luck to the young man.

Did the parent say something? That coach shouldn't be allowed to coach because all he is going to do is kill that kids arm. Sounds like a great tournament....
