I just heard that there is a team camp this weekend at TMC. Anyone know who and what time people are playing?

Anything on this. I had heard NCC JV won their side. Was told only real competition was Elder which only played Friday.

Anyone get out and see any of the games? JV or Varsity?

On Sunday NCC beat Depaul(Cincinnat?) and Highlands. Neither game was close, NCC looked pretty good at times. Highlands looks to have a few good young players.

I would imagine the HHS team was quite young as it was the Frosh unit. HHS JV was at the Holmes event.

Actually,,, I was there my son played JV along with two other 8th graders for NCC. We beat highlands Frosh HHS and the HHS JV team was not at Holmes playing because we beat them at 1:00 pm on Sunday and they played Holmes Sat. night. HHS entered their Frosh team on purpose I would assume... I think this NCC JV team is going to be something amazing to watch. I'm sure of it...

I would hope that Bird Bath would know if HHS JV played at Thomas More. The Birds JV and Varsity played 2 games at Holmes on Friday and again on Saturday. The frosh were competing at Thomas More minus the 2 kids that were playing at Holmes. Do not believe the JV competed at Thomas More on Sunday considering they had 2 more games yesterday.

Well color me stupid as I was hosting 3 JV starters at my house at that time on Sunday. So you would have either played a split squad or the Frosh but I am certain you were not playing the JV? Trust me that I am certain of! A couple of Frosh were playing both.

With the talent at the Varsity level at NC, I am certain that NC will be strong across the board; however amazing was watching the Frosh coach crack his clip board after his loss to those average bluebirds last year.

I really don't know what you are talking about... NCC JV team beat the average Frosh highlands team at the Thomas Moore camp. I stated it was the HHS frosh squad and NCC knew that... lol I really don't know what your point was. I was just clearly stated that NCC JV beat HH at the TM camp and HH JV wasn't at the camp.

HH Frosh team is very scrappy and fast... But I know they won't beat NCC 9th grade team coming up Not if Steven Pangallo, Jared Iles, Jalen McDaniels and Brennan Hall plays on Frosh team..

If you go back and read your post it was not clear at all. It read that you beat HHS JV. Thanks for the clarification. The comment in regards to average was directed at LAST years HHS Frosh team and the antics of the NC coach after the loss last year, his tantrum did not sit well or the parents comments after the game. I am sure that next day practice hurt getting beat by at best an average HHS Frosh group.

In regards to this years incoming NC class, a very strong group and if they all play Frosh I would agree they are fun to watch. A lot of talent at NC should be a very fun ride.
