I know your question is about Frosh and under; however, the sophomore class in KY is loaded with outstanding distance kids on the boys side including 3 studs at the top and really good depth.

 

Ethan Shuley - Highlands: Has the fastest 3,200 in the state this year and the 6th fastest 3,200 time run by a sophomore in the nation this spring.

Trentron Fryman - North Oldham: Ran a sub 4:20 at KY Dream Mile a few weeks back.

Brennan Fields - Madison Central

Dowdy Twins (Cole and Tanner): South Oldham

Spencer Hayden: St. X

Matt Bode: Collegiate (won Single A XC meet in fall - also one of the states top swimmers)

 

On the girls side, before it is all said and done Karras from Collins might rewrite the record books on the girls side. She is just a frosh.

Baugh is a junior and he will definitely go D1 and get a nice scholarship. Nice kid and family. Eric has had the best season of any distance kid in NKY.

Ryle girls had two Middle school girls run varsity who can move.. Juliet Mcgregor ( 7th grader ) and Kyla England (8th grader ) Both are sprinters

100, 200, And the relays.

Ryle boys also had a freshman jumper who looks to be poised to make a really big splash.
