Heard from a reliable source that interest is heating up for Drew after this weekends EYBL session in Sacramento, CA.

The following schools have reached out:

Kentucky Wesleyan (Offered)

Stetson

Davidson

Toledo

Tenn Tech

Columbia

Wright St

Also mentioned he has been in contact and taken a visit to Belmont.

Not sure if it was revoked but I think I remember reading about him having an offer from NKU. I'll search the Basketball forum and look soon.

So what's the kids recruiting ceiling? Will any low level high major DI's offer? As in bottom of the conference teams in one of the power conferences?

Having watched Drew play a few times I don't think its fair to put a recruiting ceiling on him. Sounded like he just had a solid weekend and there are 3/4 (?) more weekends in their league to be played.

Lets let him play and see where how his season goes before we limit his potential success.

Looking forward to seeing Drew with another stellar campaign up on the "hill". Early favorite for 9th Region POY, IMO.

From my understanding the offer still stands. As I recall, Drew made an unofficial visit to NKU in the fall and is still very interested in Coach Bezold's program.

Drew's height will be what keeps him from playing any higher than low-mid major.

He is a 6'6/6'7 face up 4 that lacks the athleticism to play any higher than that. If he were in the 6'9 range with his skill set...we'd be talking about a different set of schools that would be after him.

Any of the schools listed above would be a great fit for him.

Think your use "athleticism" is a little off because I remember reading that last year he led his AAU team in running the floor, free throws and three pointers. Then watching this past season we saw him continue to run the floor a head of many big guys that couldn't keep up with him.

Said it in another thread and stand by it now, there is not another 4/5 in the state that could physically go 1on1 with him. I think you are confusing athleticism with a player being flashy.

I wish the kid the best of luck...
