This team will can shoot the ball as well last years team but this team is bigger and more athletic. This team is also senior dominated. They may start the year off a little sluggish but I fully expect this team to gel together quickly and play very well. This team probably will not look like last years team stylistically. In case of Barnes I hope he and his family will make the choice that best suits his situation.

I think this years team has a chance to be better than last year's team. This years team will be bigger faster and more athletic with a chance to be better defensively than last year's team.

4.6 Is fast for a HS school kid, but it's not fast for a 160lbs college skill player. Now if you are a 220lbs+ skill player, you may have what big time colleges are looking for.

We are all in the same district. Since HC will have the most experienced team, why would anyone be favored over them in a preseason poll.

HC will definitely be NKY good but us fans are thinking we will have a state run. HC will be big fast and experienced.

I see a glaring omission in this way too early preseason poll. If we are talking 2a small school football, where experience means everything. How could we forget about Cov Holy Cross with their 20+ returning senior class.

That's a real leap of faith believing that NCC could beat HC this year at full strength. I've watched 5qtr's with both teams at full strength and HC had the best team and the best all around player...

HC didn't play well or hard. They gave a lot of minutes to players who barely see the floor against good teams. HC is a very good team that is senior dominated and they had complete control of the game. They could turn it on and off at anytime they wanted to against a team with Ludlow's talent level. The kids from Ludlow played hard the whole way but they were out-manned and out-gunned tonight.

With that logic CovCath is rewarded for losing to so called good teams but HC is not rewarded for beating so called good teams... Flawed & Bias

Being an IT guy I understand about formulas that are used by computers. With that being said I would wager this said formula uses human polls. Which are bias, because I bet you can't name someone outside of the 9th region that would rank Holy Cross ahead of CovCath this year.
