  1. Holy Cross where NFL sized RB's run down hill at little kids. Lets GO HC... Why Not!!!
  2. I think Lloyd has very good skill players and if Runion wins the QB job their offense will be even more dynamic on the ground.
  3. Barnes looks like he will be a dominate player this year and the O-line is still a question mark. Friday's scrimmage will let everyone know how far they have come. They have worked very hard this off-season.
  4. Well both the Holy Cross RB's are 225lbs Jr's so this is a pivotal year in their recruiting chances.
  5. If he's healthy this year he will have a HUGE year at the little school in Latonia.
  6. Agreed but they gained some talented skills players. So if the line can hold up for 1.5 seconds HC will be able to move the ball pretty well.
  7. Funny thing about high school football underclassmen become upperclassmen and get better. Holy Cross was a very young football team last year with the majority of the team being sophomores. With that being said those 2nd team players are the same players that will have to tackle Abernathy for the next 2 years. Don't get me wrong HC sucked the past 2 years but they won't suck these next 2 years.
  8. I think he might be best in nky... but I wanna see how my guys from HC do... I think Pleasant from Scott runs violently and it's wonderful thing to see
  9. No Abernathy was hurt and Barnes was ineligible after transferring from Holmes the year before.
  10. I'll say it again... Holy Cross has the most talent at the RB position with the 220lbs duo of Barnes and Abernathy... Both are in the class of 2017.
  11. How did Scott do against HC I keep hearing conflicting reports. I heard it was a tie or HC won. I would love to hear more details. I've seen a lot of post about how well SK did last week but I didn't hear anything about their 7on7 lost to HC. IJS
  12. Does anyone have any details from the 7 on 7's at Scott last nite? Scott, Holmes & Holy Cross played one another.
  13. Barnes plays H-Back which is the weak side slot in HC base offense. From what I understand he will line up all over the field like where's Waldo.
  14. The JV teams played against each other most of the morning with SK scoring at will.
  15. What is your point about Dillon Powell, 7 on 7's are a passing contest. With that being said I didn't know Dillon Powell played D. I'm sure he would have shut down Barnes & Abernathy.
  16. Barnes was ineligible last year. The RB was Xavier Abernathy and he will be a Jr. this year.
  17. From what I saw SK varsity couldn't stop the HC varsity and lost 7 scores to 5. I just wanted to see if the SK nation was going to have anything to say about it. BTW Barnes had 3 scores and Abernathy had 2 scores.
  18. Did anyone hear about the SK v Holy Cross 7 on 7.
  19. HC will have a very strong trio at QB, RB and OW (Offensive Weapon) with Scott, Abernathy & Barnes. Arguably the most talented running trio in the area this year.
  20. I think the RB tandems from Scott and Holy Cross maybe the most talented in NKY. HC has 2 6'0 220lbs RB's (Abernathy/Barnes) and we all know how good the Scott RB's (London/Pleasant) are.
  21. I was referring to the 16u HD teams... Sorry for the confusion.
  22. HD- Black is the B team. HD - Orange was upset by the Tri-State Maulers on a 30 ft buzzer beater
  23. If you guys have ever seen Steve Logan from UC play. Then you will understand how Jake plays. Jake is small and looks a little chubby but he can shoot the ball and play the game at its highest level. I'm Holy Cross parent so I have no ties to Jake or Scott high.
  24. I hear that is the plan. Make the teams defend HC's ground and pound attack.
