Which IMO is very impressive. Being from Maysville I only saw him a few times in the Region Tourney. Can anyone fill me in on who he is hearing from if anyone? Also would like to know who he plays AAU for?

He broke the single game scoring record. Then about a week later he re-broke the record he set the previous week.

I've seen his highlights on social media, but never seen him play. He can definitely light up the scoreboard, but I'm always a little skeptical about the kids that put up huge numbers but aren't in the Louisville metro area. In videos of him, he appears to be playing in some gyms that only have a few bleachers. What competition has he seen, and how did he do against them? Again, not an indictment of the kid, just a question.

Ok that makes sense thank you for clarifying. I was thinking he broke the career scoring record. Then I thought maybe he broke the single season and then career.

While Scott doesn't always play the best competition, they do play the majority of Northern Kentucky schools and he has shown out pretty well. Not to knock the other players on his team, but Scott was an average team and Ohmer definitely had the ball in his hand the majority of the time from the times I watched them play.

If you guys have ever seen Steve Logan from UC play. Then you will understand how Jake plays. Jake is small and looks a little chubby but he can shoot the ball and play the game at its highest level.

 

I'm Holy Cross parent so I have no ties to Jake or Scott high.

When I saw Jake at a couple of tournaments last summer the word was that he planned on playing baseball in college. However, that's also what I typically heard about Zach Pangallo, so....

I only saw him twice this year but was impressed with his offensive game. Doubt that he's going to get much bigger or significantly more athletic. Needs help on the defensive end. The kind of kid you game plan to stop and then hope he guards your best FT shooter.

 

I'm looking forward to watching him more over the next few seasons. He's a bright spot at SHS.

I like his game. He has a basketball IQ that sometimes you cant teach.

Jake is a great kid and very good basketball player but my understanding is that he is a potential D1 short stop...would have to grow to play hoops at the next level. (D2 or higher)

Scott plays anyone who is any good in the 9th not named NCC, plays all the good teams in the 10th as well. They actually have a pretty good schedule. Kentucky Wesleyan has shown interest in him.

Happy Osborne loves those overlooked HS kids. I'd love to see him set up shop in the Boro.

I came away more than impressed with his game. He doesn't pass the look test but he is smooth offensively.

Jake is a very good Shorstop as well i really believe he may have a bright baseball future however his heart is in basketball.
