  1. The competition in the 10th is below average at best. What is CC's record against good teams in the state of KY over the past 2 years?
  2. The coaching at CC is very suspect over the past few years... When was the last time CC beat a good team.
  3. Holy Cross has a returning Sr class that is 20+ deep. Lead by the OL that will only lose 1 starter. The RB's & WR's will be lead by Jaylin Williams & Christian Current on the outside and Derrick Barnes and Dominic Finnell running the pill. Let's not forget Xavier Abernathy a 2 yr varsity starter at RB should return as well to contribute to a loaded HC offense.
  4. Xavier Abernathy tore his ACL and MCL. He is schedule to have surgery on 10/29 and then he starts the long rehab back.
  5. More than likely Xavier is out the rest of the year.
  6. I'm gonna keep it simple!!! Lloyd had the ball on 7 with a 4th and goal and Xavier sacked the QB. Xavier Abernathy injured his knee on a cut back run on the very next play. This happened on HC 1st offensive play of the 2nd half and HC was leading 22 - 14.
  7. Dude what is your problem? The Newport game was the last game HC played and his highlight made the news... I could include the Scott or NCC game highlights but I was just replying to someone who liked the name Xavier Abernathy but hadn't seen him play. With that being said why the hell do you even care how support HC football and advocate for some of their players individually?
  8. Well sir HC is a mostly shotgun single RB kind of offense.
  9. IMO Lloyd plays more of a finesse brand of football. I'm in no way implying that Lloyd is soft, rather that they tend to rely on the big play passing game. HC provides a different kind offense to defend. HC can play smash mouth out of the spread offense because HC has a few RB's over 200lbs that can get to the 2nd level in a hurry.
  10. HC vs Newport highlights. Abernathy leads Holy Cross over Newport - Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV
  11. HC averages 200 yards per game rushing and they can hit the big play in the passing game with Williams and Sarono. LM hasn't had to defend the run and the pass equally much if at all this year.
  12. HC needs to limit the big plays for LM and play physical football to pull this one out. HC wins 28 - 16
  13. I didn't have anything nice to say about the BW/HC game so I said nothing. If you ever want to chat about it I am more then willing to give you my unfiltered opinion. I'll say it again I'll take my guys Williams, Barnes and Abernathy over any skill players in NKY... Slusher is a monster and I'm not taking anything away from everything that he as accomplished but I prefer 220lbs athletes over 185lbs.
  14. Were you at the game on Friday? Did you see any of these young men play? If not you then how can have opinion on how anyone played...
  15. You know if it was called back there was a reason for it. Holding at the point of attack is usually the call on a toss sweep
  16. IMO Xavier Abernathy was the best player on the field last night if you watch both sides of the ball.
  17. Well sir I beg to differ BW is heads and shoulders better than any team HC has faced this year. The Scott game got away from HC in the 4th because HC was leading until giving up 3 unanswered tds late in the game. So saying Scott hung 56 on us is a miss characterization of the dog fight that Scott was in. These are mostly the same players as last year but its not the same team. So it should be fun Friday nite.
  18. So are you assuming that NCC is as good as Beechwood? If so, what have you seen from NCC that could back up your theory? With that being said Jacob Smith is the most productive back in NKY and HC will have to contain him. Like I stated before if HC plays physical on offense they should win by 2tds. NCC will have a hell of a time stopping HC's offense.
  19. This game will determine how good HC is. If HC plays physical on offense they should win by 2 tds...
