Clyde Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I didn't get a chance to watch or attend. I did read the update that said Bezold went out. Did he ever return?
camelman Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Holy Cross tough to beat at home. But away from their place, not so much.
Mustang Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I didn't get a chance to watch or attend. I did read the update that said Bezold went out. Did he ever return? Bezold went out just one minute into the second period with NCC on top 16-15. He did not return. Spent second half on bench on crutches.
Oldercoach Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Awesome updates Lawnboy13. This game turned on a dime when Bezold rolled that right ankle in the second quarter that he had previously injured against Bellevue. Rest of Indians fought hard and stayed competitive until fourth quarter blowout. Weyer is exceptional and besides his 25 on the offensive end, he affected numerous shot attempts that others might not have even contested. Will be a solid player for Bellarmine.
Mustang Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Holy Cross tough to beat at home. But away from their place, not so much. Agree, BUT were asked to overcome a lot of adversity in this one.
justdoit Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 How can one say that Holy Cross is worthless away from home when this wasn't even a fair fight after taking out Bezold? Hmm.
camelman Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 It would have been a bit closer with him, but the outcome would have been the same. Wish the Camels could play HC again on a neutral floor.
EQUUS GREVYI Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 How can one say that Holy Cross is worthless away from home when this wasn't even a fair fight after taking out Bezold? Hmm. The only post with "worthless" in it is yours
Oldercoach Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) It would have been a bit closer with him, but the outcome would have been the same. Wish the Camels could play HC again on a neutral floor. Camelman, with your 8-11 record, you might want to rethink your Alpha male callout to the Indians. That was a little smart-aleck comment. Just reviewed Camels record and was shocked to see you guys have only played 3 games at home. Wow! That is a recipe for punishment. You guys might be hardened by fire and ready for another tournament run. Edited January 24, 2016 by mcpapa
camelman Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Sorry coach, call them as they are. But, you are correct: We're gearing up and will cut down the nets again and head to Rupp.
#99 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 It would have been a bit closer with him, but the outcome would have been the same. Wish the Camels could play HC again on a neutral floor. Ncc may have still won, but without Bezold HC was still within 4 at one point in early part of fourth. Would have been a completely different game with him. As to your other post,- Indians have only played five games at home. That's less than 33% of their wins..,.
NKYknowitall Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Awaiting the arrival of a certain poster. @Steelers Curtain where are you?
