Birds dont have the offense to win this game. Dont care what happens early in the game. Over 4 quarters that will be the difference. To many 3 and outs will put them behind. Birds defense is good but wont be able to stop Cov Caths offense enough to keep it close. JMO

Just a different kind of offense that is hard to prepare for. Highlands offense is just not good enough in a game like this. You got to be able to score or at least put 3 or 4 first downs together to give the defense a rest.

Agree...1 or 2 yes, but 6? Now your giving it away. Really good football teams don't give it up or should I say let another team take it away 6 times. TOs are part of the game but you have to agree that was the reason for the large margin of the victory.

Agree and you need to be good enough to beat CCH to win state. I'm pretty sure that's the goal in Ft Thomas.

I'm not knocking Highlands but they were down at half and was given the ball alot in second half. All im saying is with that we still dont know where they are at yet. Next week we will know where they are at. Scott County is legit. I'm rooting for Highlands dont mistake that. Its all about are they good enough to beat CCH because at the end of the day that's the roadblock to getting back to championship football.

Simon Kenton needs to schedule people. Not hating on SK just from a outsider looking in your not going to prepare yourself for the big boys in 6A with that schedule. I would call CCH tomorrow and get that game on the schedule and keep it.

Agree you play a team that turns it over 6 times you better win big. Highlands is for sure improved but we will see next week how improved. Not saying they have to win but it has to be competitive. Defense is good enought to make a run but offense needs to improve but it is getting better.

Could have been 6 to 7 more called that didnt get called against Barth. There were some iffy calls during the game but she got fouled every other trip called or not.

I guess we will find out more on Friday. In December I would have said this game on Friday would be a close one. Curious to see the outcome.

Surprised this game was this close but a win is a win. Question did Campbell peak to soon or are they getting tired? With close games with Conner and Holmes and a loss to the Birds its just a thought.

Campbell never adjusted during the game on offense or defense. Highlands made it a point to attack and get to the line. Campbell made it a point to launch 3s and not attack. Highlands game plan defensively was perfect. Campbell style is prone to foul a lot if the other team can handle it. The Birds did a real good job handling the pressure in second half. Were there calls that were suspect? Sure both ways but officiating didn't cost Campbell this loss, Campbell cost Campbell.
