raymond Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Could anyone give me Campbell county - Holmes score and the box scores of the game
Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Not sure what it was at the end if 1Q, but Holmes led 41-35 at the half, then Campbell County led 60-55 at the end of the 3Q, and Campbell County ended up winning 74-72 like mcpapa said.
Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Campbell County Mackenzie Schwarber 19pts and 9rebs Mallory Holbrook 16pts Tamara Wells 14pts Taylor Clos 14pts Lexie Stapleton 8pts
Blueto Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 The Lady Camels hand Holmes their 1st home loss since the 2014/2015 season, when the Bulldogs lost at home to eventual state champion Holy Cross. Big district showdown Wednesday as Scott travels to Campbell County.
BigBlue05 Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Surprised this game was this close but a win is a win. Question did Campbell peak to soon or are they getting tired? With close games with Conner and Holmes and a loss to the Birds its just a thought.
EasyEdge Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Holmes is streaky. I have seen them look really tough when they are knocking down their shots (over 40% from 3 and 90% from FT line), and I have seen them struggle when shots don't fall. sounds like they were putting it in the basket last night! I am not surprised that they hung with Campbell and also not surprised that Campbell pulled it out.

Holmes has a chance to 3-peat in the 9th region. I would say the Bulldogs are peaking and the Camels are right where they need to be as well.
Valhalla Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Congrats on the CC win vs Holmes. C'mon Blueto ... right where they (Camels) need to be? This would have been CC's 2nd loss to an UNRANKED team in the last 2 weeks. Kudo's to CC for grinding it out regardless as a W is still a W. Sounds like CC is struggling with every team gunning for them as highly ranked as they are. I would have thought this game would have been (way) over by the 3rd qtr. Right where they need to be? Hmmm ...

Hmmm ... Valhalla, it seems like you have a bit of a complex when it comes to anything regarding CC. I guess the rest of the week will give us a clearer picture. Maybe CC can keep it closer than 35 at SH Friday!

In December I would have said this game on Friday would be a close one. Curious to see the outcome.
Valhalla Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Hilarious Blueto! If there is any poster that has a complex re any/all things CC I think it is most likely the dude you see in the mirror. Why would we need the rest of the week for a "clearer picture" when CC is "right where they need to be"? Keep it closer than 35? Would imagine CC should be FAVORED by 35!?! LOL
passtheball Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I think CC will be a tough out for SHA on Friday. CC gave the Valkyries all they wanted last year without the transfer, so it should be a very competitive game. SHA wins by 8.

LOL You can't stay off a CC thread. I hardly ever look at Mercer threads. Look, I realize what this season means to you. I know after this year it will be back to bragging about...what? The Shakers??
