Final from BB&T. Great second half for Holmes, at halftime it was a 2 point game, 25 to 23. Conner was pressing Holmes and they was beating the press down court. Congrats to Conner on a great season. Good luck to Holmes in the Championship game Sunday. Should be a dandy. Theses ladies have had a nice run the last 4 years.

Only if you believed Conner was going to "kill" Highlands and Holmes on their way to the finals ... Would anyone have thought that?

Its an upset...mild would be correct.

Congratulations to the lady cougars on a 23 win season against a much improved schedule. With graduating only 1 senior starter the 3 seniors to be who have started since freshmen should be poised to make a run again next year. They should be able to replace senior starter McLemore with Strange and I'm sure they have some young talent in the pipeline to help the bench next year. Their biggest obstacle will once again be Ryle in their own district who also returns almost everyone. The 9th should be a good region again with a good returning group at Dixie and Highlands as well as others I'm sure.

Very mild. Holmes has a couple really good players and if shots are falling, they can keep the run going

Conner beat both Highlands and Holmes in the regular season, so they sowed the ability to do it. However when Holmes is on they are hard to beat.

Some teams play great during the season but at tournament time something happens to them.

Sometimes you just need to give credit to the other team. Remember only 1 team wins their last game.
