Was very impressed with Ballard. Thought they played very fundamental and hit the open man who hit the jumper or layup. Scott County played hard and competed but was not on the same level as Ballard tonight. Scott County will be there at the end of the season. Whole lot of new faces and it will take time but coach Hicks will have them playing for the region again this year. I was impressed with the JV they have a lot of good youth that will develop as well as the season goes along.

Hines and Borchers are to great coaches who have their teams playing on high levels as of late. Congrats to both programs

Great season by the Greenwave. They showed over and over again when people questioned them that they belonged. They are a good team and Wilson is as tough as nails, great kid. Best of luck to Trinity against Dixie. Should be a good game if the moment doesn't get too big for Dixie.

I will say that Morgan is the difference and Hazard pulls out the win at home 28-24.

What an awesome way to handle the adversity. Would take this guy on my staff right now. What an amazing family. Wish them nothing but the best. Still this is a sign of how our society is a win now society. What have you done for me lately. With this video I would be willing to bet the farm this man has touched a lot of lives in his tenure there.

Boy sure doesn't say much for the STUDENT athletes that do it the right way. Of course the KHSAA has allowed everything to be questioned and argued and somehow bend a bit. Hope the kid takes his 2nd chance and makes the most of it.

How can a kid who did not successfully pass the 11th grade if I read this correctly be eligible to play this year? I was told the reason he left Scott Co is because he could not get eligible, how is it he is now amazingly going to be eligible in Fayette County schools. Are there different guidelines for them than the rest of the state. This is just confusing.

I am so sick of hearing about the wrong call. That was last year and this is this years team for the both of them. Forget all the common opponents, that does not mean anything. I will say that Meade is a good football team and Scott Co. is a good football team and it will be a great game. No matter what it will come down to who makes the fewer mistakes. Meade Co. did put points up (14) but one drive is all they put together last year, the one that tied the game. If I am correct the other was 2 yards after a Kick off return. According to KHSAA. Meade Co only had 166 yards of offense and 80 of that came on the last drive. Both teams have different personnel this year so we shall see who comes prepared to play and then no one will debate it.

Might signal some issues with the individual. I don't know the kid but know he can score and at Scott Co. would have probably assumed the role that Gilbert played to score. At Bryan Station he may fit in and he may not fit in, who knows. I would think at EJ he would have been the man. Not sure why all the moving and not sure why his senior year but if he was not eligible at Scott Co how can he be eligible at Bryan Station

I will say that Central Hardin is a very good team, BUT so is Bryan Station. They have played a harder schedule in my opinion and are battle tested. They have some very impressive athletes on both sides of the ball. They have a huge O-line and the QB is very impressive. If they can slow down Central Hardin and make them punt it could be a long night for Central Hardin. But it is going to be cold and throwing the ball as much as they do it could be tough and Central Hardin may get the upper hand. I can assure NO ONE should over look Bryan Station, they are very good.

Might want to check yourself on the whole Henry Clay thing. If I am correct the leading rusher in the state rushed for over 200 yards against Meade and Scott Co held him to 58 yards and Zero points. The one thing that I feel will hurt Meade is too many two way players. I think it will be a good game but I think Scott Co. wins 28-10.

ONLY STAT that matters is the "W", period end of story.

Well I guess home field advantage goes to Meade Co. in the slop of their own making is what it sounds like.

Not trying to start anything but I can assure you that Dixie nor SK could stay within 2 TDs of any of the top teams on the other side of the bracket. Scott Co would beat them both. Dixie would give them a better game but neither of them can beat the Cards.

Let's remember that Scott Co held Buford to 58 yards rushing but I will say this kid is special and Meade Co better be ready or he will rack up the numbers against them like he has against everyone else.

I will take the field easily, they may not make it back to the semis this year. just saying

Oh I know the rules I am just stating losing 60 plus to 0 and breaking even, where is the joy in that. I am a proponent of the class system but that is a tough trip to get up for if you know you have to travel 3 hours to get your but whooped and 3 hours back afterwards.

Then I guess I will eat crow. I will say that the Top bracket is so tough that by the time the get to the Finals a let down or being banged up might cause them to lose, that just isn't the way I see it. I believe that out of the top ten in the state in 6A IMO only 2 are in the bottom bracket, Dixie and Lafayette. Ballard and SK are good but I think are on the outside looking in. Once again my opinion and don't amount to much but that is how I believe it will shake out.

I think Boyd will be in the hole after making the trip to Highlands, NO one at the game means no gate money and the buses will cost more than the effort will be worth it. But I am glad that Boyd is making strides.

I will make one guarantee, the winner of the top semis will be your State Champion. I think we should have a playoff between the two teams that lose to the Top semi teams and they should play the bottom bracket for a chance to play the loser of the top semis for a chance to play in the finals. Sound confusing, yes, it is but the top 3 or 4 teams in the top bracket could beat ANY of the teams in the bottom bracket, that is my point.

FYI-- Male and C. Hardin are in the same semi's bracket so they will meet in final four not the state championship. I don't think C. Hardin can beat Bryan Station IMO. But good wishful thinking.

1A- Mayfield vs. Hazard 2A- Caldwell Co. vs. NCC 3A- Belfry vs. South Warren 4A- Highlands vs. Owensboro 5A- Bowling Green vs. Southwestern/ Pulaski ( depends on if Pulaski QB is back) 6A- Scott Co vs. Lafayette ( rematch of week 1 lightening delayed game)
