I will take the field easily, they may not make it back to the semis this year. just saying

Male is probably the favorite at this point, but way too many teams that could put together a run not to pick the field.

You don't think St. X should be in that list with the way they beat Trinity?

 

T, Scott Co. and X were the first who came to mind who could win state also. I don't know enough about Bryan Station to know one way or another with them.

Saint X, Trinity, Bryan Station barring their QB plays deep in the playoffs and how about defending champ Scott Co? Too many tough programs to consider Male as the champs.

Male has the best team in the state IMO, the only thing that may stop them is themselves. They will likely have to beat T and X in back to back weeks and their "reward" for that will be a trip to Scott County. (Sorry Bryan Station, your loss to Ballard takes you out of consideration). I question if Male can stay at the top of their game for that kind of gauntlet.

I think Male is top 6A team, but they will have to be on their "A" game every week in order to play on the first weekend in December. Plus, last year Male was able to knock off X and T in back to back weeks, but fell in the semi-finals.
