With Ramser, Stafford and Spalding all juniors they have a good base for next season. They just need a few role players around them and they will be good again.

Yes, we paid eight bucks last year. Its a really nice venue and easy to get to. The people were super friendly and it was a good time last year. If you get the chance it is well worth the drive. Looking forward to a great day of boys hoops.

Stafford is a slasher type player. I will be interested to see how he adapts to the point guard role next year as he does not now have the mindset of a distributor. I thought the Ramser kid was the impressive one outside Spalding. Really nice shooter and defender like a coach on the floor, he seems to get better each time I have seen him.

This is not true. Trinity did not play Hoptown this summer or in the preseason.

You have to be kidding around with Jax Levitch. Jaqalis Matlock, Tanner Johnson, and Jalen Perry are MILES ahead of that kid. Actually two of his teammates (Daniel Ramser and Michael Stafford) are better than he is

Your love for Manual is duly noted. Waynie is a good player but is not in the discussion of the top ten players in the state. Off the top of my head I can name about twelve players that would be mentioned before him without even doing some research. Cory Thomas, Brent Bach, Justin Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Evan Hall, Drew McDonald, Raymond Spalding, Nich Ruthsatz, Braxton Beverly, Jaquis Matlock, Quentin Goodin, Peyton Chase, Charles Hudson....these guys are the ones outside the top ten listing that are in the discussion

Fellas, if you missed this game today you missed one of the best basketball games that will be played this season. It was a super competitive game that was close all the way. Congrats to both teams. But from this point forward on this board, I forbid anyone from saying its Ballard and then everyone else (LOL). Trinity is at the same level as Ballard and actually was probably the better team today.

Per Jason Frakes a sports journalist for the Louisville Courier Journal: Aside from Ballard, Louisville Trinity has not lost a game to a Jefferson County Public School since losing to Seneca on February 1. 2011. Thats a pretty good run.

Coach McGlone built a wonderful football tradition at Russell. Respected by both players and his peers. He will be greatly missed but I am sure what he has built there will continue. Just an impressive record and man

???? It was a very good game to watch. DeSales has a very nice team. Spalding didnt play the second quarter because of foul trouble. The last two players on the bench were not there because of a JV game, like what does that even matter they never see the court in a varsity game anyways. Spalding again just went thru the motions. Chase Shellman got the opening tip from him and actually outplayed Spalding.. Again, I have now idea what "thsrocks" was expecting but DeSales has a nice ballteam and to beat them by 15 was impressive. They were up 20 several times.

Tanner Johnson had an unusual off game for the Knights and they also only made it to the free throw line four times in the second half. Thats not gonna happen very often

Well it looks like they could just pull stats from the KHSAA scoreboard to get team scoring stats. For example Ballard is averging 83.2 points per game and Trinity is only allowing 48.5 points per game.
