Not sure of the rule but I do know that one of the most obnoxious assistants sits on the Lexington Lafayette bench. I have seen the refs even warn him about his yelling and behavior.

Thanks for the interesting note about Martin's father playing with Houston. Didnt the three point shot start in 1988 in Ky? Would that have been Houston's senior year? Regardless Snider would have broke the record I am sure.

Not to take anything away from Snider breaking Allan Houston's record but I wonder how many Allan would have scored if the three point shot was in effect.

This Tuesday night Trinity will visit E-Town

It was a super game to watch from a fan perspective and so many things to speak to. The officiating was inconsistent. What they didnt call in the first half they started calling in the second half and late in the game. I think it did frustrate both sides. The order of fouling out for KCC was Christon then Justice then Hall. In the officials defense there were so many tough calls to make. In all honesty, Wayne County flops alot and KCC chicken wings it alot so all those block/charge calls make it so hard. KCC (only the second time I have seen them this year) does seem to drive to the basket with reckless abandon. Justice and Hall are a fine duo. Wayne is a nice team. Like I said it was a fun game to watch and mentioned earlier both those fan bases had the most people there (including Lafayette and Catholic)

Awesome......terrific comeback by the Knights to beat the Generals on their home floor. They overcame alot in this game as it was definitely a home game for Lafayette. There was a black-eye moment in the game when Jackson Davis stomped on a Catholic player Jarod Griffin while he was on the floor (karma comes in all forms...lol). Actually thought Davis should have been tossed. What a wild regional this will be......

I think we have to agree now that Burns looks to be healthy that they are truly the big favorite in the 16th now.

Finally got to see Wayne County play. I was super impressed. Absolutely no quit in those boys. They play so hard you cant help but like them. They should be ranked higher. Boy they do love to shoot the three though, hope that doesnt let them down at some point. Great team though.

Saw four awesome games today, each game was close or had alot of intrigue. Since this is the Trinity/Scott County thread I will just speak to that game here. Scott County outplayed Trinity from the opening tip, hitting a three pointer to start the game and never headed. Teddy Ware was unconscious for the Cardinals and sixth year senior Trent Gilbert was just as effective. Scott Countys defensive pressure on Trinity really never allowed them to get any offensive sets going and Raymond Spalding, again, played the incredible invisible man in the first half. Down 20 at half I dont think the game was ever in doubt, Trinity played them well in the second half but was that they played better or did Scott County let up a little with a huge lead. Game takeaways IMO: Scott County: Tony Martini is a wonderful blue-collar player to watch, you just have to love the intensity and toughness he brings to the game. Teddy Ware can shoot but was unconscious today. Long is very raw and kinda reminds me of a very young Felton Spencer. They do have the pieces to win it all in Rupp. Their downside is that they play six players at best, if they get into any type of foul trouble they will struggle. Trinity: Pretty much all rests on Raymond Spalding. I have never seen him play a complete game or ever seen a 6'9" player go thru stretches where he is no factor at all on the floor. They desparately need the Ramser kid on the floor, tonight he had two fouls within the first three minutes of the game and did not play anymore in the first half. Owens is a very underrated player for them, he does all the inside dirty work since Spalding likes to be clean. Having said that they too are a team that could win it all in Rupp also.

I think the overtime loss to Ballard took alot more out of Trinity than people realize, they really wanted that game and even though they have continued to win something seems amiss....I would not call it an upset but I think the Cardinals win this one.

With as good as your team is this year you have shown great restraint with your compliments of them. Most of us can only wish our team was as good as Trinity this year. It has to seem a little unfair that you have to go thru Ballard to get to Rupp but I honestly think they get them next time.
