Honestly the "game of the week" will be Saturday when Trinity plays Scott County

I am sure there will be threads in the future on your picks for the tournament. Posting the favorites to all the regions and the games just seems like a mindless post to me. But back to the topic of the post: If you are looking for a region that got favorable draw it would be either the sixth or the ninth as the other heavyweights are in the top bracket. A quarterfinal game of Trinity vs Hopkinsville would be delicious.

Lets just pick the top ranked team in each region, then pick the favorite in each game of the tournament. Maybe we can just save time and give Ballard the trophy.....:idunno:

He is a "tweener" for college. I think he is above the WKU/EKU etc level but not quite the major D1 unless its a system play. UT (IMO) with their style is not a good fit whereas Vandy could be a nice fit. The Colonial schools would be good too. Dayton/Richmond/Temple might be good fits too. Wish the kid well.

Trinity only had seven players. Raymond Spalding, Christian Theineman and Jay Murphy all DNP. Daniel Ramser stepped up bigtime for the Shamrocks playing the 4.

Tanner had eight three's and the score was actually 67 to 52. I think the lack of games during the weather had them a little rusty. I hope they are back on track.

Definitely a down year for the Red Devils. The talent is down but the team has been plagued with injury. Starting point guard is out with injury and the starting center who broke his leg last summer broke it again in November and is out. Not that any one person is to blame but it may be time for a fresh start at Russell.

Spalding has been at Trinity from the getgo. He also played on their summer team ("the Celtics" as an eighth grader)

The entire second half was played with a running clock. It will also be interesting to see if Knight-Goff makes his way back. I hope you are not confusing Isaiah Knight (who played last night) with Kelshawn Knight-Goff.
