Welcome to BGP, but you don't get out much, do you? :idunno:

They are hands down the best in the West. Loved watching them at State last year, and depending on the draw, can make a championship run at State.

I get out just about every night, do you? Have not seen you anywhere I have landed?:arghh:

LOL, there is a handful. Ballard and Trinity for sure. Hoptown is lucky they would only have to face one of them to win state. Etown has given them their closest game in state so far. They should have won the Park Tudor game, they made a great comeback but seemed to lose momentum after the blackout.

Ballard can run with them and Trinity can stop them defensively....theres two right off the bat.

I would really like to see a game between Trinity and Hoptown. Trinity has an excellent defense but Hoptown is averaging 80 pts a game this year. Would be a great matchup.

Welcome to BGP Fan, I hope you dive into the site and become a regular contributor. Hoptown is clearly having a great year and are on a very short list of teams that can win the whole thing, but I think you have to agree that Ballard remains the clear-cut #1 team in KY.

Are you a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals' Matt Holliday?

I'm not sure Trinity would be able to run with them, if that is the question. As citycat said, they may be able to prevent them from running.

Agree Ballard could run with them. Maybe PRP?

Hoptown looks loaded this year & as others have said, they can cut the nets down at Rupp. I do think Henderson County will battle them in the Region, but barring injuries, Hopkinsville should come out of there & contend for a state title.

Ballard & Trinity seem to be the cream of the crop. Whichever of the two win the 7th will be the favorite to win the Sweet 16, but they won't have an easy time doing so.

Ballard, PRP, Doss, Holmes, Trinity, NCC, CCH, Scott Co, Lafayette. All of these will run with anyone and can play with anyone. Just put Hoptown in that group of teams that can make a run and win it all. Of the mentioned teams and there may be more, only4 of them can make the state.

Has Hoptown lost to anyone from the state? Offhand I am thinking no. Going to the scoreboard now.

Undefeated against Kentucky opponents. Interesting.

Loaded. Just watching them play last year alone made me get tired.

Track meet.
