It would be a diaster. PRP and Trinity do not have large fanbases that travel for basketball. The average basketball fan within like an hour or so from Lexington will not go for just a Sunday afternoon game between two Louisville teams. A few people might come to see Trinity as they dont have the anti Louisville bias (at least in basketball not football) as much as PRP does. If the question is what game would get the most attendance my guess would be a Scott County versus Wayne County final.

Since we have gotten a little off the favorite track somewhat, the game I would like to see is: (I have been fortunate enough to see all 16 teams except McCracken County, CovCath, and Clay County so I am not sure how they might fit in my scenario). The teams I enjoy most are the teams that usually have no superstars and rely on execution, teamwork and heart. Teams that play as a unit and leave every ounce of energy on the floor. The two teams that fit that for me would be a Wayne County versus Trinity final.

Wonderful pure shooter from anywhere on the court. Having said that he needs to work on his ball handling skills and stop the "chicken-wing", he will never get away with that in college.

Yes, I think we were the only two that saw it that way. One of the best high school basketball games you will ever see. As in the old thread back in December, a defensive minded team would be the most likely to beat Ballard. You could not beat them if you let both Snider and Martin both go off on you for 20. Thus a very key part of the game was Ramser on Martin. Ramser led Trinity with 14 points and held Martin to 9. Side Note: one of the most creative chants I have heard this season was by the Trinity students at the end of the game. With about 15 seconds left Snider went to the line with Ballard trailing 59-57 for two shots. Time out was called with the place going wild. With Rick Pitino watching from his seat in the balcony, the Trinity students started chanting, "Ricky's watching". It was ingenious. And then of all things he missed the first free throw. Gotta love kids these days.

You are being very kind with your comments regarding Ivory. Like you said if someone told you Raymond Spalding had two points and Ivory was that bad I would have bet the farm that Ballard rolls. But as I have mentioned before on here you better not sleep on the Ramser kid. He was dynamite tonight. Getslow,,,,,the scary thing is that with Jay Murphy at point next year Trinity will be even better.

JMO......I believe that tonight is Ballard's state championship game. If the Bruins beat Trinity I am not sure that anyone else in the tourney can beat them. You cannot beat Ballard running with them, some team will have to stop them defensively and maybe Trinity is the only team that can do that. That said, if Trinity pulls off the upset I believe that the state is wide open again. Several teams, Hoptown, Scott County, CovCath, Wayne County, KCC, MoCo and Trinity I think could all take the crown.

Valley High School

He did make 3 of 4 threes but on three straight possessions at the end of the second quarter he failed to rotate on defense leading to six straight points from layups for X. As another poster said dont get caught up in the last name. Every minute Levitch takes away from the Ramser kid is a negative for Trinity. And for someone saying Levitch doesnt have a negative impact on games, I would say his four turnovers against Manual were a big negative.

Seems like overkill to me but I come from the days of one head coach and one assistant.

How many coaches are required to coach Ballard? I counted EIGHT today. Eight coaches and twelve players.

Spalding was again wonderful, I think all his points were in the second, third and fourth quarters as I dont believe he scored in the first quarter. Both IU and Clemson head coaches were there. He last two games have been what everyone has been waiting for. That said, the Ramser kid was clutch and outside Spalding was the difference in the game. The kid has moxy. As in the previous thread the rest of Trinity's team was very sluggish. Ivory may have played the worst game I have ever seen him play, selfish and turnovers. Owens was essentially invisible. As odd as this may sound Trinity may be better next year. That said, Tuesday night is what everyone has been waiting for since the beginning of the season. Comes down to 32 minutes. p.s. Indiana is on Spalding HARD.......and I think if he had to decide today that would be his destination

My heart is definitely with the Knights but with Jarod Griffin's broken wrist it will take a herculean effort to come out on top in this one.

The difference is that yours is just an opinion and mine is based on the fact of watching them play two times.

While Ballard is the favorite, lets not be overdramatic,,,,"biggest upsets ever"....please, Trinity played them very close both times.

Not the draw PRP wanted to see then potentially Doss in the semis?...OUCH I think DeSales is a nice sleeper in this region. Tough but winable game at BE in opening round and opposite PRP/Fern Creek/Doss. That would be a cool story if they made it to Rupp

Well Trinity did draw St. Xavier. If the rumor is true they are going to play it at Bellarmine........that is a BIG BIG BIG mistake by Trinity to give up the home court advantage.
