The tenth region starts next week. The draw is Saturday morning. I know it's kinda difficult with out knowing who is playing who yet. But with that said somebody was gonna start a thread about it and it's 1:04 in the morning and I'm bored. So we may hold our votes until the draw (probably the best idea) or we may feel so good about a team right now to say they are going to win. Personally I'm gonna wait to see the draw. The region got a little shake up this week with some upsets that will have to change our perspective on who wins. Defiantly Mason Co. (Probably the regions third best team) Early exit from the district shook things up not to mention Campbell's win over Brossart (regions #2 team).

 

The bracket will surely look different than anything I would have anticipated two weeks ago.

 

There are some on here that thinks this region is a one horse race, while others think it's a two horse race. I personally think there are 4 or 5 different teams that could go on a run all the way to Rupp.

 

Will MoCo run away with it? Will Brossart get back to thier winning ways? Will Harrison Co. prove their followers are right and their record is deceiving? Same could be said for GRC. Or will the Augusta Panthers keep their Hoosiers dream alive and win the region with the 10th's best player Brent Bach? Or is there another team a dark horse if you will that is going to come out of no where to shock the state? Will Mother Nature cause issues in getting the games played? So many questions and the answers we will have in a mere 9 days!

 

So who ya got winning the region and why??

Bottom bracket is loaded. Top bracket not so much. Good draw for GRC. Tough draw for BB and MoCo. Augusta got a good first round game they have to be pleased with that. And my polar bears are in the weaker bracket. Best they could hope for at this point and well anything can happen right? That's why we play the games :thumb:

Honestly I feel the winner of Brossart MoCo will win the region.

 

I picked with my head this time as I believe this is how it will go down. Would love to see some upsets but I don't feel that is going to be on the menu. Bracken over Campbell would make my week. But I doubt that happens

The Camels definitely have a favorable draw for that scenario. Brossart will have a challenge with MoCo which I think they will prevail. GRC can't be overlooked. They played MoCo to the wire in the championship game in the 40th only lost by 1. I think the cards finally got it together at just the right time to make some noise.

I know Brossart has a fine team but I surprised the majority have BB beating MoCo. Sure it's a game of matchups but on paper BB resume is not even close to MoCo's.
