KHSAA Stat Leaders

2013/14 KY Boys Basketball Stat Leaders

66 schools have submitted updated stat reports this week, that is less than 25% of all high schools who participate in KHSAA boys basketball.

Interesting that #2, 3 and 4 in the state in Scoring Defense are Brossart, CovCath and Beechwood.

Well it looks like they could just pull stats from the KHSAA scoreboard to get team scoring stats. For example Ballard is averging 83.2 points per game and Trinity is only allowing 48.5 points per game.

To get more teams to submit their stats, any team that fails to post their stats weekly or bi weekly, makes their players ineligible to earn any KHSAA awards (District, Region or State). Wanna bet that the parents of the players get on the coach big time to post the stats! :thumb:

Good luck getting the schools to pass that one.

No stats to me means weak AD.

Most coaches put them in at the end of the season so other coaches can not get access to their team stats.

What program do you think is doing the better job? the 25% that do or the 75% who don"t.

I want to be connected to the 25%

Amen on faxisfax's comment. Successful coaches who care about their players post their numbers. Only coaches who fear their coaching prowess isn't good enough run from doing so.

Will Hager of Mercer County is the point guard for that team and is shooting 62.7% for the year.

Is there a guard in the state shooting at a percentage like that???????

If Coaches think they're "keeping a secret" in this information age........I have news for you.....Everybody has access to everything whether you post stats or not.
