First half lead was built on dominant inside play on both ends of the court with good basket cuts combined with timely outside shooting and solid ball handling. I would guess at least 10 blocks by the Ryle "bigs" in the 1st half. The 4 returning starters from last years team accounted for 48 of Ryles 55 points. Boone made great adjustments in the 2nd. Ryle never went to an all small line up in this one but middle schoolers contributed well when subbing in with defense and ball handling including Mcgregors two free throws at the end. Credit to Boone for a ferocious come back and credit to the lady Raiders for not cracking, and finishing with solid defense (blocks and steals), answering with baskets when it counted & nailing free throws when it counted.

Ryle currently first place at 3 & 0 in district with Boone in 2nd place. Certainly a lot more basketball to go and I suspect the Ryle/Boone rematch AT Boone on the 30th will be one heck of a game.

Both Boone and Ryle are undefeated in District play. This has become a great rivalry game so come out to Union if your team isn't playing tonight as this could be a close one. Tip is 7:30

Congratulations to the Lady Bulldogs who are on one heck of a roll this year...it's great to see a NKY team ranked so high in the state as well! I think the 9th region tournament this year will be a showcase of talent!

I would agree that games get rescheduled ( snow and such). But I do think deceptive reasoning/intentions hurts the integrity of the game...what if teams could get away with that at will and avoid strong opponents whenever it benefited them...if there isn't some flue epidemic or other reasonable transparent reason.....its the deception that's the poor example for the players.. Not the issue of playing the game or not.

Wish the article defined sickness. If this is we'd rather not play because 1 or 2 players out...does not speak well for HC

Have to agree with most comments. Would like to hold out hope there was no press and zero fast breaks once up 30...great time for Subs to work on half court offense. Any stats? Certainly hoping a lot were involved.

CoachO..had some coffee and eggs with crow this morning. SK outstanding at the free throw line which will win you a lot of games if you attack the basket and get to the line a lot. Congrats on a solid win!
