I would agree that Beechwood should be the pre-season favorite. On paper, they are stacked. Is this the year they get it done on the field ? After Beechwood, I think you have to go to the 33rd district. Every year it is a dog fight, and this year will be no different. The district has two of the top pitchers in the state and has 3 committed to D-1 colleges . Every district game is a low scoring event. Last year at one of the district games, there was only 2 hits allowed with the winning team having no hits. Four very good teams in Boone, Ryle, Cooper and Conner. Two teams will be the odd man out when it comes to region play. I would say Highlands will fall in after the teams above. They lost most of their offensive game, but return quality pitching.

At half Camels open it up to 32 -20. Rebels cut down on turnovers, this could be a game -

Boone didn't play 4 starters tonight due to attendance issues, but played with great energy and unselfishness which led to easy baskets underneath which resulted in the Rebels shooting close to 60%. Keep battling and finish the season strong. -

Congrats Michael ! -
Very nice facility but spectator space gets tight. Besides PBR attendees, youth teams are using the batting cages. Can get a little cramped.

I would agree it was tasteless to post that. Can't say nothing about the kids. I think it is great the students show up in force to support their team . I have heard Cov Cath has a class about being a Crazie and coming to the games is required for the class. Is this a rumor by haters or is that true? Only thing I liked about the video was it showed the bald headed ref who should be ashamed of how he tried to call the game. Normally, you don't see another ref reverse a call, but I want to applaud the shorter ref to reverse several calls on out of bound balls. I was glad the shorter ref called the game based on the play on the court and not on team records. -
Was this win Ryle's first regular season district win since 2013/2014 ?

Boone has started over half the games on varsity with 3 soph and 2 juniors because of losing a lot last season. If the 3 soph were on JV this season, there would be not many teams able to stay with them. I guess Boone has decided to take some losses this season, but the younger players on varsity is getting a lot of experience and I feel everyone will see the payoff in the next couple of seasons. My comments was not to take away from WV, just to comment on Boone's progress this season. They started off with one of the toughest schedules with the least experience , but keep improving each game. -

It was a 20 point game and with about 2:35, WV called a time out And put all starters back in after Boone went on a little run. -

I would agree with you. This is a game where Boone's top scorer for the season had a off night going 0-9 and Boone's 6'-8" center was home sick. WV is a good team, but Boone at full strength could have changed the outcome. -

Great game! Boone was down 17 at one point in the third and got it to a couple of points. St Henry shot the 3 well tonight. Tough physical game, maybe a little too much for the refs. Toward the end, It seemed the refs were over-looking for fouls instead of calling the actual game on the floor. As the time was running out for Boone in the 4th, St Henry did their job at the line. Game was closer than the score shows. Great battle by both teams. -

Mason County did a great job of adjusting their game at halftime. Pig looked like a different player after the half. I noticed a big difference from 9th to 10th region on how tight the refs call a game. The 10th really lets them play hard. If that game was played in Florence tonight, there would have been about 20 more fouls called at the least. -

Boone has been improving each game . They really looked good against Ryle. I expect another good showing by Boone and make the trip to Maysville an exciting evening
