Brayden Combs (1B) Beechwood

Easton McGee (RHP) Hopkinsville

Good list. I would add Devin Hairston (Tates Creek) & Riley Jackson (Lex Cath). Miniard & Thompson have the best potential to get drafted out of high school.

There are some really good high D-1 level players who should emerge this year, but not considered top 15 today due to injuries.

Jason Suchanek of Beechwood is a D1 signee heading to Xavier. I don't know if that makes him top 15 in the state, but how many players in KY will sign D1 this year?

He said all classes not just 2014 grads.. If I had to guess there would be quite a few..

Newcath Jr Zach Pangallo 2 sport athlete is one of the best hitter in the state throws R bats L kid is a stud. Seeing Walters preview in basketball thread it looks like he can go play college in any sport. Another name in the 9th region is Highlands pitcher Mitchell Jones will be one of the top pitchers in the state.

I agree both are very good but no where near the top 15 in the state.

You can throw Scott SS Reed Spata in the list.

There are two really good junior catchers in NKY. Luke Hanigan over at Highlands and Blake Roederscheimer at Boone County. They both defend really well and they both can rake.

Both good, but neither a full time varsity catcher yet. Not gonna make this list.

Seth Caple Dixie

Mason Forbes, Ryle

Not sure there is a position player in the state I would take over Mason, certainly not an OF. He may be most under rated in state

I thought his primary was 3rd?

You must know your baseball then sorry boys you must not be in Raiderbird's scouting report I guess you got to play for Midland to be on this list.

No reason to get upset, and nobody mentioned Midland. PBR has Mitch and Zach rated 41 and 89 in the 15 class, respectively. I know thats not the end all, but they have both paid their cash to them and got evaluated. This discussion is top players in the entire state. They are not there yet. Mitch is going to get a chance vs top comp this summer, he is pitching for the Flames. If warranted he will rise quickly, I think he is great. Needs to improve his velo a little bit. Zach is a really good hitter, elite even, but does not show well at showcase type venues. He needs to get out in summer and face top comp. Both significantly under valued at this point, should move up ranks.

No reason to be upset I think Mitch is a hell of a pitcher and will be the best pitcher in the 9th region and in the state my opinion I rather see a kid in game situation then at a showcase with 100 kids being there also goes the same with Zach just my opinion. Remember Zach is a exceptional basketball player to just don't play one sport maybe that hurts him in some aspect of this list.
