Think my Raiders at Ryle will be improved under a new system but it will all depend on QB development. I feel like Engler will run in to the same problems Griffith ran in to at Boone his first year in no QBs being matured or even coached for that matter. Also think Boone will have a much better year.

I hope you're right but the last time they came in our gym they ran us out of it.

You also must realize that this isn't Trinity or X. This is Boone County. After their ones go down to injury there is a big drop off. If Lamb and Griff don't get hurt this season..it is a completely different story IMO. We barley beat them in a game against mostly back ups. I'd say give the new coach who has won 2 state championships against quality competition some time before we jump to conclusions.

Somebody mentioned they had over 10 surgeries this past season. Not a know excuse but it's hard to win that way, especially at Boone County.

Heard an OC was hired this week??? Anyone have any info???

Depending whether one school plays up or not, our cross town rival Boone County may be moving down to 5A.

Football coaches son will probably be tossed in there if he is back from surgery, his name escapes me though. Boone should be a tough out this year with the depth they have. Good luck to you guys.

Should be us and Boone representing the district. Your guess is as good as mine on the seed order. Any information on their rotation this year on the mound? Loss of Behymer will hurt.

As a Ryle supporter, I can honestly say that Stanley is a top player in the 4th. He is so developed... Even better news for Boone, he still has room to improve and be even more dominant. Congrats to Boone and a tip of the cap to Mr. Stanley.

So what was the reason for him not being considered for the LC job if he was the "assistant head coach" there? Something tells me the pool of candidates for this job was thinner than most think.

That was in stating why HHS doesn't play Saint X today. Because of them getting embarrassed. Not because of the Purples/Highlands matchup.

Floyd was moved to QB because of Jamar Lamb tearing his labrum. Then lost Griffith at LB to an ACL injury. Two significant losses, but I still feel as if they shouldn't be this ugly.
