My hubby, PH, will be cancer free for 30 years the night of this game. I have to say that BG will win by 2 TDs to celebrate this very special anniversary!!!!! Go BGHS and GO PH (Bulldog)!!!!!!

Even though the Purples did not play last night, there are two positives from their trip to Lexington. 1st they're still undefeated, and 2nd they suffered no injuries.

What I was thinking. I wold like to play the 2nd game before thinking about the third.

Spot on....But I also take it as a negative for BG by not playing last nite and gives St X another week to work on things and gel as a new team under new coaches.

The off kiltered schedule this week could leave some people questioning next week this time why the BG/BS game just didnt just go ahead and be played at whatever costs

I believe the game was cancelled because they sat around all day in a gym in uniform being told the game would start soon. It was miserably hot and they came out on the field several times, only to be sent back in. St. X and Lex. Cath. were spared most of that. Our coach and players had enough. Nobody's fault, just mother nature.

When I started this thread I was thinking none of the games would be made up. Now that St. X is playing LexCath tonight this thread has become premature. I'll open it back up after tonight's game.

St. X will do their best to control the ball with their running attack. They will make the most of their huge offensive line and lean on the Purples front 7. Nagle may carry the ball more behind those powerful running backs.

 

St. Xavier will nullify Bowling Green's long win streak and help preserve Dennis Lampley's 50 game win streak legacy at THS. I thank the Tigers in advance for this favor. :dancingpa
