Get with the program Sweeper, the scrimmage of the century has been letting us know that Highlands is not even in the same universe as Trinity.

Bowling Green started with the foundation first and stepped up and played St. Xavier and has not shown they can beat them constantly, how many other teams not named Trinity can say that? Now, they may be ready to start playing Trinity and find out where they are and where they need to be to beat the number one team in the state.

We really don't need all that mex, all we need is for BG to play a couple of other really good teams each year in addition to X. At this point, this is 90% a Purple issue.

I know this might be semantics...but, I think there's a big difference between having the best "team" and the best "program". In high school, your team changes from year to year. Yes, you may have some of the same players as last year, but there are usually differences...sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. Your program on the other hand, relates to how long you've been achieving a certain status over a period of time.

 

So, is it possible that BG might be the better "team" this year? Sure. Does that automatically mean they are the better "program". No. As you say, that will take some time.
